Chapter 260 - Chapter 259: Jiang Hai's Beach

It may be due to their previous education or perhaps their genuine feelings for Jiang Hai.

In their eyes, Jiang Hai has been so kind to them, and they feel they have no choice but to pledge their loyalty to him.

However, a few days ago, when they tried to give Jiang Hai the most important thing they had regained, he rejected their offer. This left the girls feeling a little saddened and uncertain, as they thought they hadn't made a mistake in their feelings.

But as Jiang Hai began to focus more on his cattle, their thoughts shifted elsewhere for the time being.

Of course, if they could, they would still be willing to offer themselves to Jiang Hai. However, when he didn't want it, their primary focus became learning about wine production and brewing. Dulles-Gerald, who was a knowledgeable mentor, was more than happy to have such beautiful and diligent apprentices.

Recently, he had been teaching them with great dedication, imparting nearly everything he knew. This left his assistant, O'Connor-Murphy, perplexed, as he had only learned by observing and "stealing" knowledge during his own training.

Dulles-Gerald was a German with a strong, unyielding spirit. Despite his deep affection for the girls and their work ethic, he continued to perform his own duties with methodical precision.

As he was teaching the girls, Jiang Hai and Pra Walton arrived on their four-wheeled motorcycles, drawing the attention of everyone nearby.

When the girls saw Jiang Hai, they immediately stood up and ran toward him, temporarily ignoring Pra Walton and Selena Gomez.

They had no qualms about other women around Jiang Hai; if he needed them, they would help him find more.

"You're amazing. There are so many beautiful women here. Is your winery really for making wine?" Pra Walton asked, her eyes scanning the girls as they approached.

Jiang Hai glanced at her and responded, "Of course it's for brewing. These girls have had difficult pasts, but they've been reborn here." He continued with a gentlemanly tone, making sure to clarify that he had never touched any of them inappropriately.

Pra Walton, however, couldn't help but feel a little envy. "What a waste... such beauties. We're going to the beach, would you like to join us?" she asked, her expression earnest.

The girls hesitated, looking first to Jiang Hai and then to Dulles-Gerald for permission. The old man was soon overwhelmed by their gaze and stood up with a smile.

"You've learned enough for today. Take the rest of the day off. We'll resume pruning tomorrow." The girls cheered and clapped, eagerly turning their attention to Jiang Hai.

"Go change into something more comfortable and meet us later," Jiang Hai said with a smile. He would never stop his subordinates from enjoying their free time, especially when they were diligent about their work.

The girls, clearly excited, rushed off to change, while Jiang Hai exchanged a brief look with Pra Walton.

"Young bodies... should we wait for them or go ahead?" Pra Walton asked, glancing at the girls heading off. Jiang Hai, a bit unsure of what she meant, responded, "Let's go first."

After a polite exchange, he revved up his motorcycle and headed toward the beach with Pra Walton and Selena Gomez following close behind.

Not long after, they arrived at the secluded beach. As soon as Selena Gomez stepped onto the sand, she let out a soft gasp, startled by the view. Her voice, combined with the sound of the motorcycles, caught the attention of Edward Anderson and the other fishermen preparing to set out to sea.

"Hey, boss, are you going out to sea?" Edward called out.

Jiang Hai looked over at Pra Walton, who gave a cool, indifferent response.

"No, we're staying on the shore. The ocean isn't too welcoming right now." She gave Jiang Hai a cold, regal smile, then added, "Let's just enjoy the beach."

Jiang Hai nodded, turning to Edward, signaling that they would stay on the shore. The group then headed toward a more secluded part of the beach, where the landscape was peaceful and untouched.

Jiang Hai's manor was purchased by a wealthy man specifically for vacations, offering an idyllic environment. The beach was a crescent-shaped bay, with blue skies dotted with a few clouds and a matching blue sea. Behind the bay, there was a mixture of green grassland and forest that protected the area from harsh winds. On the grass, the wind was moderate, but it was gentler on the beach, which made it the perfect place for a relaxing day.

The beach, which had been kept private in recent years, remained pristine. The sand was soft and clean, and there were no signs of pollution or trash. Only the occasional shell or small crab could be seen, adding to its natural charm.

After parking their motorcycles, the two women got off and stretched, enjoying the serenity.

"This place is really beautiful and so peaceful," Selena Gomez remarked, her mood visibly lifting as she took in the view.

"Since you're here to have fun, forget about everything else. As the saying goes in Jiang Hai's homeland, there's always a way forward. Worrying won't help. If you need anything, whether it's with your music or that little bastard, I can help you handle it," Pra Walton added.

As she spoke, she gently combed her hair, a playful glint in her eye. She walked over to Selena Gomez, wrapping her arms around her waist in a gentle embrace.

Jiang Hai, watching from the side, felt a bit awkward. What's going on here? Is this some kind of scandal?

Just as the tension in the air thickened, Edward Anderson arrived with some lounge chairs.

"Boss, I brought some chairs for you," he said, offering a welcome distraction.

Jiang Hai quickly moved to help, and Selena Gomez broke free from Pra Walton's arms, walking over to him. Pra Walton, slightly annoyed by the interruption, also made her way over.

The two women helped carry lighter items like the lounge chairs and parasols, while Jiang Hai and Edward handled the heavier tasks. Once everything was set up, Jiang Hai returned to the dock to wait for Aphra and the others.

Meanwhile, a taxi had arrived at Winthrop's territory. (To be continued.)
