A random notification popped up out of nowhere, and I just sat there, staring at the text in front of me like a deer in headlights. I didn't know what else to do.
I'd pictured myself as some brilliant hero who'd crack the system's secrets and sail through the game without breaking a sweat. But real life? Yeah, not that easy.

Yup, that's how it worked.
My big plan was to skip the long, annoying B-rank quests and grind through the easier C-rank ones instead. I'd max out my stats that way, then breeze through the tougher stuff later.
"Ugh." I let out a groan, I couldn't stop myself.
I'd kept trying to push my Strength to 49, just to be safe, but every time, that same message popped up, and my stats wouldn't move an inch. Finally, I threw in the towel and dumped the rest of my points into Size.
