Chapter 90 - Jolly Time With Family and Gathering For The Next Anticipation

A serene harmony prevailed inside the house belonging to the illustrious hair Magician, Prila. More specifically, the Hair Magician still possessed her human form, Candila, with her long ponytail hairstyle. She wore a clean, sleek yellow dress. She neatly carried two white holographic plates of fresh cooked chicken steaks with sunnyside-upp eggs and polished white mash potatoes.

Candila even hummed joyfully as she approached her parent, who waited on the couch, centering their sight at the active television projection broadcasting a scene of racing cars. Nogra and Hona imminently dropped their eager jaws when their daughter neatly placed the plate on the table.

"Here is your tasty breakfast from your beloved daughter," Candila announced excitedly, smiling at her parent.

Nogra sniffed the tasty smell from the chicken steak and grinned, "Wow, this chicken seems interesting."

As Candila widened her delighted smile and took the balmy seat on the left, her parent began to chop a little part of the chicken steak with the small knife. Then, they picked the cut pieces with the forks and sunk them into their mouths, chewing them. Impressed expression showered their faces when they took more time chewing the chicken steaks.

"And it is very delicious!" Nogra complimented his daughter after swallowing the steak's pieces into his throat.

Hona washed the oily remains from her lip and joined the compliment, "Yeah, indeed, Candila."

"How come you can cook a delicate dish like this?" Hona asked curiously. "I thought you're not the type of girl who loves cooking."

Candila crossed her arms boldly and cringed, "Funny enough, one of my….love partners taught me how to cook."

"Is it Caldister?" Hona countered, peeking her intrigued eyes toward her daughter who blissfully smirked

Candila chuckled, "Sadly, it's not him."

"To be more exact, it's a girl," Candila clarified, exhaling the heavy air from her throat and giggling.

"My love life is rocky as hell, especially after Gdark left me," Candila professed, leaning her tired back on the sofa's surface and whistling.

Nogra smirked and offered advice: "It's okay, daughter. Sometimes, finding your true love takes a long time and effort, too."

"Even your mother and I needed ten 10 years to be engaged," Nogra professed, sheepishly giggling at his wife, who cackled.

Hona jabbed her husband on his right shoulder as he groaned, exposing her irritated furrow at him. He reluctantly scratched the back of his head and sheepishly winced the longer Nogra darted his stare toward. Regardless, he exhaled a tiring sigh, convincing his daughter to half-giggle.

"Yeah, because you are one complicated man, especially when you try to make a decision," Hona bickered, gritting her teeth. "If we married earlier, Candila would already have an older sibling."

Nogra puffed, "About that."

"To be fair, we are not in a good financial back then," Nogra argued, clearing his throat and chopping a little piece of his meat.

Hona rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that."

"Anyway, Candila, how's your modelling agency regarding your sudden break like this?" Hona asked worriedly.

Candila chuckled and broadened her smile. "Don't worry. I told the agency that Prila would return next week."

"Besides, many of my close friends told me to stay with you two for now," Candila explained.

Nogra raised his eyes, "And how about The Triumph Makers? Did they allow you to have a break?"

"Luckily, yes, especially after Galastar kidnapped you two," Candila assured. "And thanks to my Ex for convincing Daigrun."

"Even your teammates care about your wellbeing," Hona replied gladly. "Seems they are all good people without their alter ego."

Candila chuckled confidently, "Of course, of course. Without them, I might not stay in Triumph Makers, too."

"By the way, after this, do you two want to go outside?" Candila proposed a question to her parents. "Shopping and having a great time in our favourite restaurant."

"Sure, why not, my sweet Candila, sure," Nogra replied happily, nodding and stretching his compassionate smile that he fixated at his daughter.

"It's been a long time since we last spent time together like this," Nogra added.

Hona clapped her hands and smiled, "Indeed, I couldn't wait which make up products the best with my beloved daughter.

Two hours passed, and the old couple was already outside the house, waiting for their beloved daughter to come out. Meanwhile, Nogra stood by the floating red car, holding the door's handle while his wife, Hona, patiently fixed her gaze on the front door and crossed her arms.

"As always, she focused on perfecting her makeup again, right?" Nogra guessed, groaning in little bitterness.

Hona tittered and stroked her cheek. "Just like me when I used to be in her age.

"Yeah, I remembered that, Hona. Well, I hope she turned off the TV," Nogra uttered, raising his arms and sniggering."

Inside the house, Candila had recently finished her makeup, especially with her face becoming pale-white by the thickened powder. Even her lip was turned into a sparkling strawberry-red after being painted with her lipstick, which she put into the small holographic pinkish bag hanging on her left arm.

"Hang on, Mom and Dad, I'm going to turn off the TV first," Candila raised her voice as she sprinted to the active television.

As she headed to the active television, Candila blew a shocked gasp when fixated her glance at the current screen being broadcast from the active television. Candila was frozenly witnessed the recent news showed the picture three escaped criminals on the center alongside the headline stated, "Another Three Infamous Villains Mysteriously Escaped From Their Captivities."

Precisely, Candila marked her heedful frown at the picture of the criminal who embedded a hexagonal helmet on his head. She hesitantly gripped her fists, especially when she slowly approached the bluish holographic remote lying on the table. As she grabbed the table, Candila glistened the pinkish aura within her eyes the longer she locked her gaze at the hexagonal helmet man.

"Damn it Judilia, you also freed Handola too?" Candila whispered, clutching her knuckle and beaming a pinkish ray within her eyes.

"Even though…..I hadn't received any call from The Triumph Makers, I swear after this temporary break…." Candila paused her words as she gathered the pinkish aura on her back and gulped.

"I swear…I'm going to train for one day to defeat your master for good," Candila finished her sentence.

Eventually, Candila picked up the remote from the table and pressed the button on the edge right. Hence, the levitating television diminished into thin air, convincing Candila to return the remote to the table. Little tranquility flowed into her as she exhaled a breezy sigh and folded her hands.

The pinkish aura on her back and the ray within her eyes dispersed simultaneously after lifting her neck above. Afterward, Candila turned to the front door and sprinted to it, ready to commence her relieving activity with her two parents. Spending time with her parents might lessen the pressure, but it would only be temporary as infamous criminals escaped and The Infamous Pendoswing continued to spread more terror into Gloricon.

The urgent meeting between The Triumph Makers members continued inside Stellaramid's gathering room. Spefically, the three heroes, such as Mina Rodax, Scrap Devil, and VWX, separately occupied their seats with the special drinks remaining full on their tables, setting their observant stares at their leader in the center.

Above The Alien Leader, several holographic screens hovered and sluggishly rotated as he scanned all of them at once. Most of the holographic screens presented pictures related to past broadcast crimes from escaped criminals. Daigrun VII locked his tight observation at the picture of Omnugorg relentlessly casting a barrage of spiky arrows impaling U-V robots and innocent bystanders.

"So one of The Succubus Twins, Judilia, freed all the three villains in one day?" Mina Rodax asked after sipping a bit of the drink on the table, lifting her opened hand and darting her caution gaze at the screen on the left below displaying a hooded man propelling his opened hand.

Daigrun VII cleared his throat and nodded, "Correct. The villains that she chose to free were not just dangerous ones."

"However, our arch-nemesis or someone who had a strong attachment in our past," Daigrun VII assumed.

Mina Rodax groaned. "For that assumption, you're not wrong, Daigrun."

"Especially she decided to free Nexogron," The Telephatic Hero commented, fulminating the bright blue particles on her palms.

Scrap Devil raised his hand before sipping a little drop of the drink and joined the conversation, "Not all of it, such as Handola."

"I bet Handola was freed because…The Rotten Succubus and her twisted master wanted to have a powerhouse." The Demonic Builder remarked, gazing at the screen presenting a hexagonal helmet man thrust his hand forward.

"And Handola is an asshole who is well known on almost destroying this planet several times," The Demonic Builder stated, holding his neck and cringed in disgust after the awful drink's taste roaming within him.

VWX pinched his chin before sipping the drink and said, "Yup, you're not wrong."

"But what about Amalia Galastar's case?" The Laser Master argued. "Is it he wanted to make Prila stronger or he did wanted to eliminate her?"

Scrap Devil raised his hand and countered, "I can answer that. It's both…I highly bet, Layfree.."

"Like I couldn't grasp what exactly his true intention on this," The Demonic Builder muttered.

"He was indeed a bizarre individual that we could only banish back then," VWX spoke, flinching his lip.

The Laser Master clapped and asked, "The most important question is, what's the specific reason why he picked those three criminals to be freed other than creating more chaos or possibly eliminating one of us?"

The question from The Laser Master streamed into Daigrun VII's mind as he heaved his eyes and took one step back. With receiving a clearer look of the picture presenting Omnugorg declaring the barrage of arrows, The Alien Leader sharpened his focus and blurted a small laugh.

"Nice question, Layfree," The Alien Leader praised his fellow teammate, pointing his finger at VWX, who humbly nodded.

Daigrun VII showered a bold expression on his face and uttered, "Based on the current observation regarding this condition. I got the best answer for The Infamous Pendoswing's reason."

"Simple, he desired all of us to improve our capabilities significantly better than the last encounters!" The Alien Leader raised his voice as he continued his statement. "Simply, he wanted to have a satisfying rematch with a stronger Triumph Makers."

Shocked pants echoed from all three Triump Makers, especially when they set their sight on Daigrun VII. Mina Rodax uneasily sighed as she planted a disbelief look on her face, and VWX scratched the back of his arms while Scrap Devil grunted irritatedly and shook his head.

"I'm aware you're all quite confused," The Alien leader clarified. "However, hear my explanation first."

"Pendoswing is a being who is so obsessed with strength, challenge, and glorious battle," Daigrun VII explained. "If I have his mindset, of course I'm going to send all the powerful or frightening criminals to be a training dummy for my prey to become stronger."

"Then, how about Amalia Galastar's case, Daigrun?" VWX rebutted the Alien Leader's point.

Daigrun VII cleared his throat and complimented, "Thanks for bringing that point up again."

"Even though Amalia Galastar's almost killed Prila, he most likely aware that one of us will come to rescue her," The Alien Leader pointed out, directing his stare at Scrap Devil. "Which means he is not only seeking the improvement of strength or power, but he is also eager to see us grow as more effective teammates."

"But with my case, her asshole lover was the one who gave me her current position and asked me to rescue her," Scrap Devil argued.

The Alien Leader drew his opened hand and assured, "I understood your argument regarding that."

"Here is my counterpoint, The Infamous Pendoswing curious to see whether she could fight in her weakened state or died by Galastar's hand," The Alien Leader affirmed. "

"To be more exact, he was enthusiastic to see her overcoming the disadvantage and making her a more formidable foe," Daigrun VII asserted.

"If you think about it again, Prila also become a well-prepared individual especially when she was dragged into Galastar's trap," The Alien Leader added. "My conclusion is Pendoswing is excited to see his potential victim significant progress."

Scrap Devil hummed, "Hmmm….if I put into Pendoswing's perspective…maybe it make sense."

"Let's move on from Galastar's case," Daigrun VII announced, switching his stare to Omnugorg's picture.

"As for Omnugorg, I'm very much aware he will be the first one who is going start the chaos," The Alien Leader proclaimed and continued. "Moreover, I'm even aware he is going to set his rampaging assault on Talosnis, his homeland."

"So Layfree or VWX will you accompany in this upcoming mission?" Daigrun VII asked, directing his firm glare at The Laser Master.

VWX thumped his chest and spoke, "Absolutely, yes, Daigrun."

"Good to hear that," The Alien Leader responded thankfully before eyeing at Scrap Devil and Mina Rodax for the next command. "As for you, Mina Rodax and Scrap Devil, you could either do training or patrolling the city."

"Understood, Mr.Daigrun!" Mina Rodax said firmly.

Scrap Devil panted and uttered, "Ah…undestood too."
