Asger was having the time of his life.
After making his dramatic entrance and stretching his wings, he basked in the chaos he had caused. The humans scattered like ants, fear radiating from them in waves. It was amusing.
But after a while, the novelty wore off.
With a final shake of his wings, Asger let out a loud snort.
"Alright, I'm done."
Liam, still seated comfortably by the cave entrance, raised an eyebrow.
"That's it? You're going back already?"
Asger grumbled.
"Staying in my full form for too long is annoying. Besides, I already had my fun."
With that, he began shrinking back down, his massive form condensing into his smaller, more manageable half-dragon size.
Though Asger had returned to normal, the fear he had spread throughout the dungeon lingered.
For the rest of the first day, no one dared to come near their base.
But by the time the second day rolled around, curiosity began to outweigh fear.
