Draven's punch landed squarely on Aldric's face, smashing his head against the ground.
Draven, with his red eyes glowing, continued punching. The vampire girl, Lyriana, still stood in the same spot, holding Draven's bow. Outwardly, she showed no emotion, but inwardly, she thought, He's fast and strong. Is this really the ability of someone unable to use Mana?
Aldric's blood splashed on Draven's face, but he didn't stop. Soon, there was only a puddle of blood where Aldric's head was supposed to be.
Draven slowly stood up, his red eyes still glowing and blood staining his face. Fully standing, he looked at Lyriana and slowly started walking towards her, swinging his hand to get rid of the blood.
"Hey kid, I'm gonna be asking you some questions, and I suggest you answer properly if you don't want to end up like him," he said.
Lyriana, still standing in the same spot, swallowed her saliva, thinking, Damn, what the hell kind of kid is he? He gives me the feeling like he could kill me at any time.
Draven got closer to her. "First question: who the hell are both of you?" he asked.
"I'm Lyriana Virelia, and he's my brother, Aldric Virelia. We are both high-rank vampires," Lyriana replied.
Draven thought, He's a high-rank vampire? I guess they're not as strong as I thought.
Draven turned his head towards Aldric, seeing him standing, his head already regenerated. He continued his thought, Or he's just too weak.
Draven got closer to Lyriana, stretched out his hand, and took his bow. "So, why were you guys looking for me?" he asked.
"We came—" Lyriana started, but was cut off by Draven.
"Never mind," he said, starting to walk away. "I don't really care anyways. I guess you're in my house right now because of the party, but as soon as it's over—" Draven suddenly stopped and turned his head towards them, his red eyes glowing. "Make sure I don't even see both of you here again, unless you want to die." He turned and continued walking.
"Continuing finding where your heart is? It's not as hard as it seems. And make sure to clean up." Draven walked away.
We see both Lyriana and Aldric facing the direction Draven headed. Aldric, his clothes covered in blood stains, walked closer to Lyriana and said, "To think he would be so strong, but I didn't go all out."
"So did he," Lyriana said.
Aldric said, "You mean he held back? Even so, if he didn't held back, I would still be able to defeat him if I had gone all out."
Lyriana didn't say anything, but thought, Even if you had gone all out, you would have still lost. If I'm not mistaken, he's as strong as a pureblood.
