Kael descended the stairs of Building A-1 with firm steps, his patience already worn thin. He wasn't in the mood for delays or bureaucratic excuses. He just wanted to get this shit sorted out and leave as quickly as possible.
Upon reaching the first floor, he spotted a discreet sign that read "Dormitory Management." Without hesitation, he pushed the door open and stepped inside.
The room was simple, lined with shelves full of documents, a reception desk, and... an elf.
She was sitting behind the desk, buried in a book so thick that it almost completely hid her face. Her long blonde hair was slightly messy, and her glasses were slipping dangerously down her nose.
Kael frowned. "Hey."
"KYAH!"
The elf jumped so hard she nearly fell off her chair, her glasses flying from her face. With quick reflexes, Kael reached out and caught them mid-air before they hit the ground.
