A few minutes before Clyde arrived at the scene, Celina appeared in Aetherius' palace without even knocking.
Aetherius sat there, shocked and confused. Celina, whom he had deemed dead, was alive.
There was only one thought running through his mind:
'She's definitely dead! This is fake!'
He swallowed the emptiness in his mouth. Celina approached and he hurriedly snapped out of his daze.
"Greetings, Lord Aetherius," she said, lowering her head. Her voice was low and cold.
"Celina, you turned out to be alive after all" Aetherius responded, his tone equally cold. He was nervous, standing in front of this child, and he couldn't tell why.
Maybe it was because he knew she had powers that probably surpassed his own or... something else. He just couldn't figure it out.
"Yes, I hope I didn't disappoint you, my lord." She forced a smile.
He smirked.
"Disappoint me? No way!"
