"Get yourself suited up and pick the suitable weapons. No one will save your ass out there." Mateo, who I guess was the team leader, said as we chose our weapon from the armory.
I picked a shotgun, and a laser one that can tear through anything.
Tucking one in my waist band, the other was tucked behind me. Then I took several bullet magazines, and just for safety sake, I picked out two daggers and put them in their hilt first, before tucking them in the belt around my thigh.
After we're done picking out weapons we walked out of the new base to the open space outside where a car was packed.
"Whoa… TxL 789." One of the team members, a beta, whistled as he rushed to touch the sleek body of the car, turning his head back at us, "This is definitely going to be a wild ride."
TxL is one of the fastest cars, so it's pretty normal he has that kind of reaction.
