The soft hum of an animated movie still played in the background before he reached over and switched off the screen. With quiet precision, he climbed down from the bed, his movements effortless and smooth.
Winter's gaze flickered between Seren's peaceful face and the man who now towered over her with just a few strides.
"Shall we start?" His voice was low, almost a whisper, yet it held an undeniable command.
