The days that followed their lunch at the rooftop restaurant were far from ordinary for Lyla.
Despite going through her usual work routine—brand meetings, music studio sessions, and occasional video shoots—her mind remained preoccupied. No matter how many times she tried to focus, her thoughts circled back to that single moment, like a skipped record—Noah sitting with that elegant woman, their easy smiles, the way she touched his arm, how he looked at her.
There was nothing scandalous about it. They could've just been acquaintances, maybe business-related. But Lyla's instincts said otherwise.
And that's what bothered her most. Instinct.
She didn't remember anything about Noah Anderson being her husband. There was no photo, no diary, no wedding video stored in her memory. Yet ever since she saw him with that woman, her heart had started reacting in ways she didn't understand.
