Ulthos stood on a large nest made of silk as he looked over at Elliot, who lay on his nest, his bright golden and red skin slowly turning purple.
"I see it's already affecting you."said ulthos."Yes, but I've gotten used to it. How are the others holding up?"asked Elliot.
"Their are fine as far as I can tell. However, it seems theirs a breech in the barrier, and some unruly forces have entered."said ulthos.
"I know I can see it all, but unfortunately, we can't help nosra and anancy outside the castle. abancy was made aware of the situation.
And from what I could see, he webt into the string world something about saving mikel, so I'm guessing those two aren't holding out well."said Elliot.
"The string world right now, you sure he was briefed their are only two circumstances he's allowed to enter it even when angelo is sane to enter it now us plane idiotic
And no one stopping him means it's likely very bad."said ulthos."Yes, it is. I can't gaze into the other world, but through my marker on anancy, I can get a picture of where he is.
And I still can't wrap my head around it. Those things were all killed for good. How could one be here of all places and to specifically target mikel means it's working with that filthy hethens child."Said Elliot.
"You don't mean."said ulthos as the black around his neck eye's shot wide open."Yes, ulthos, it's an erimim, and not just that, it's evolving."said Elliot.
"We can't allow that to happen. We must send someone to kill it immediately."said ulthos.You know as well as I do that we cannot do that.
"The country of lanurga may be wiped from the face of the earth, but their's nothing we can do because they are watching waiting."said Elliot.
"Wait, you said anancy went into mikels subconscious to fight that thing. Please tell them to wake him immediately."said ulthos.
"Don't worry, he'll be just fine. Those are his favorites."said Elliot."You know damn well I meant for the safety of th erimim if he kills that thing it may take mikel with it."said ulthos.
"He's not that irresponsible."said Elliot as ulthos looked him deep in the eyes.:Thats not just it if your in your current state not doing anything and are already losing your sanity, imagine what's going to happen to him."said ulthos.
"Elliot's eyes opened wide with realization as purple flames surrounded his body.Your right, how could I have been so blind if he fights that thing it could jeopardize everything.
And those people know what he's capable of, so they likely planned it."said Elliot as his body started to glow.
His eyes shut as from the purple core in his chest emerged a naked man with tanned light brown skin and golden hair with purple and red stresks hair that seemed to be on fire.
Flames covered the man's body as he now had on a long red trench coat that had a Phoenix's head on it with long black pants and a purple t-shirt underneath the jacket.
"Are you sure this is necessary, Elliot?"asked ulthos."Of course, even though I don't even possess one percent of my strength, it's still a quarter of what I can use on earth."replied Elliot.
"Remember, no fighting, just bring those two back and stop anancy."said ulthos."You know me, I always keep on the objective besides I know what's at stake and while I'd like to help the others fight the intruders.
Because I'm the only cardigan capable of taking a full human, but unfortunately, if those three lose, we all lose, and if nosra senses them, she'll go beserk."said Elliot.
Anesthesia dropped down from the sky as she looked at Elliot."You heard everything?"asked
Elliot.
"Yes, are you sure you can pull this off a supruse attack by a celestial jeopardized the entire mission for those two, so can you keep lowkey?"asked anesthesia.
"Of course, I can, but with the other figting off the intruders, can you all keep the barrier up?"asked Elliot.
"Yes, angelo's wings were cut off, and we have five hours till they disappear until then the barrier is secure."Said anesthesia.
Elliot nodded as he reached into his main bodies purple core, pulling out a red and gold katana with streaks of purple on the hilt.
A golden portal then appeared in front of Elliot as he walked through it. "Couldn't he have chosen a better form?"asked anesthesia to herself.
"I too wonder that myself."Said ulthos as a vain popped up on elliot's head."I heard that."said Elliot.
"Yes that was our intention."said anesthesia."I hate you two."
The portal then closed behind him as soon but as he left several cloaked figures encircled the castle.
"Open the gate. I'd like yo get my evening work out."said anesthesia."No, stop, I'll handle it. You stay in the castle. you're too reliant on your abilities."said ulthos.
"Fine, but if any slip past you, I will be killing them."said anesthesia."Well, you're out of luck."said ulthos as a giant door above him opened.
He walked out the door entering the castle halls as he left elliots' room.He then started to make his way down the halls.
In front of him, he saw gear shift leaning against the wall."How's angelo?"asked ulthos."Well, not good, but luckily, his body is not ripping itself apart."said gear shift.
"It seems they were monitoring the realm closely because they attacked immediately."said gear shift.
"Well, unfortunately for them, they don't have an idea of our existence, and it will stay that way because I'll leave no survivors."said ulthos.
"Well, how about I come with? I haven't fought in a long time."said gear shift.:Sure, let's see who can kill the most, but we both know it will be me."Said ulthos.
"Remind me who has the most points of the leader board."said gear shift."You use guns cannons and other weird technology. you're basically cheating."said ulthos.
"You all have abilities to defy laws of the universe, but me creating a gun is the problem."said gear shift.
"It is when the gun can shoot a person in the past. You basically create weapons that copy all our abilities."said ulthos
"It's not copying, just inspiration."Said gear shift."Well, take information from the enemy, not us."said ulthos.
"I don't know ulthos coming from you . It sounds like you're scared I can do your job better than you."said ulthos.
"Do my job better than me. I was created because you couldn't do my job."said ulthos."Do you really think so? If I had the energy, I could recreate all of you and make you all better."said gear shift.
"Wait now, what I think about technically picked the idea for your creation? You wouldn't be here without me."said gear shift.
"Are you really using that logic."said ulthos."Of course I am. Can you defend against it?"asked gear shift.
The two finished treading down the stairs as the castle wall opened."Let's just handle these grunts."said ulthos.
As the gate opened on the walls of the outside gate sat two figures.The figure that was the most eye-catching of the two had eight black wings on their back
A glowing white head on their right shoulder and a spiral ring covered with blood red eye's on their left.
They wore a long black trench coat and had their hands firmly set on the long black hat on their head while a red scarf around their neck fluttered in the wind.
The next figure seemed to be of a woman with long black hair who wore a black skin suit and white stocking.
She had a black snake rapping around her body, and her deep black eyes stared at the castle door.
The two parties took a long, drawn-out gaze at each other as ulthos reached for his blade.The dragons purple eyes opened as it started gaze into the black snake's deep red eyes.
Ulthos gripped his blade as the gate swung open, and the parties jumped down now standing in front of an army of cloaked figures.
The intruders nodded their heads at each other as the giant serpent lashed out but not towards either ulthos or gear shift.
It lunged at the cloaked figures, its body becoming ginormous as the cloaked figures in audible suprise screamed as it's jaws attempted to swallow them whole.
"Mistress ardania, what have we done to warrant your anger!"shouted a cloaked figure before the serpents jaws clapped down on him, putting him out.
The others tried to run, but the man's black wings rose in the air as hundreds of black feathers rained down on his subjects as their blood painted the marble castle tiles and surrounding grass red.
As the rain of wings started to dwindle and more and more bodies were devoured by the serpent, a small figure made their way into the castle court.
The figures seemed to be a child, which surprised the two cardigans who were in audible shock at the sudden murder of so many individuals.
"It seems like we'll no longer be able to have our competition."said gear shot."No, you're wrong. I see three targets standing right their."said ulthos as he pulled out his blade.
"Sorry for the delay, gentle men. These brutes were nothing but waste of space and would only interfere with our little play time together."said the man as his wings fluttered.
"Little play time you were given with us."said ulthos as a slight smile crawled on his face."What my friend means is that their are several people, all of similar strength to us that inhabits this castle.
And several more down at that village unless you two consider yourselves superior to your lords your end is near."said gear shot.
"Lords, we have no lords, only contractors."said the woman as the snake slithered around from her back to her neck.
"May I ask how you found this place in particular? How did you find this exact location?"asked gear shot.
"Isn't it obvious that after the war that ravaged all six realms, we found the location of a new one and quickly deduced this was the lost land of the universes greatest contradiction.
And that the boy who had came and wielded the prophesized book was his successor of sort so we came her to kill that boy.
To stop the birth of the true conscience"Said the man."Well, and I suppose you tell the religious fools in your ranks complete lies."said ulthos.
"Of course, but it is for the greater good. The true twisted existence is a force that will hold all the realms back, for it will never truly allow peace and, therefore, must be eradicated."said ardania
"And if you truly believe what you just said, you truly believe you can kill him?"asked ulthos."Of course, not at full power, but this is the perfect situation."said the man.
"Sir, may I peacefully ask for you and your escort to go and take the child with abvious parental issue with you? we only fight serious threats here."said gear shot.
"I did not think you two of all people would be using that old trick call us cowards all you want.
but your leaders exact quote when he fought greyander irios was that honor wins duels not wars."said the man.
"Seyamir, don't speak that name he does not deserve any acknowledgment just like his master doesn't."said the
woman.
"Oh, it was worth a try, but can you please not bring the toddler you babysit to fight? we have a preference not to kill exploited children."said ulthos.
Suddenly, the child's cape flew off as it's trusted it claw like hands towards ulthos who blocked it with his blade.
Ulthos looked down at the bot as he jumped back in shock."What the hell? How the hell is that possible? This couldn't be no how."said ulthos as a giant black wing flew towards him.
Anancy p.o.v
I was pulled down beneath the horde of worms, now drowning in black liquid. I opened my eyes as confusion was drawn across my face.
The tentacles had stopped pulling me down. I sighed only possible because a soul can't drown unless you break their spirit.
I wandered what was happening on the outside to make my dream dinner stop so suddenly."Well, I was so much for the free elevator ride.
and i was so looking forward to seeing that smug face of victory replaced with dread."I said as I started to swim down in the abyss.
"Maybe if it unfreezes up, I can still get that feeling of confusion,dread, and terror, but it won't be as juicy. Oh well, a meal is a meal."
I swam deeper into the Abyss as at the very bottom of the black liquid, I felt myself standing on tentacles.
Two of my several extra eyes opened as I smiled and swam to my right where mikel was being feasted on.
I reached a desolate place in the sludge like liquid only being able to see due to my unique eye's.Infrobt of me was a human body completely engulfed by thousands of worms.
As it was being feasted up on.I extended my hand, grabbing mikel's hand as the worms lached onto me trying to stop me.
Something was strange they weren't attacking me the tentacles still not moving the billions of tiny worms still floating above me but I didn't think to much of it as I yanked the body from the horde if worms.
As I gazed at the person I pulled out, I frowned with saddest."You would truly do this. what is with him and attracting people who just throw away their lives."
