"So, how is this going to work?" Rey asks, sprawled on the couch across from Jun. His fingers drum lazily against the fabric, but his sharp gaze stays fixed on Jun. "Like, nothing between us from now?"
Jun exhales, rubbing the back of his neck. "No, Gosh, I didn't mean that. We can decide_ like, one night we do it, the other night we don't no Matter the mood. Then when we're at the pack house, that's always a no. No doing anything there, even if we sleep in the same bed. The office at the hotel, also a no. The car? That's another no."
Rey groans dramatically, tossing an arm over his eyes. "You wanna kill me or something?"
Jun chuckles. "It's just a short period of time, babe. Just to measure how long we can really resist each other."
Rey peeks out from under his arm, lips curling into a smirk. "Okay, fine. Let's do this."
Jun nods in satisfaction, but he doesn't respond. Instead, he falls into a quiet stillness, his expression unreadable.
