The next morning, they all showered, brushed and got dressed, they had no time the previous day to get new clothes but they were able to look presentable at least.
The receptionist ordered a ride that took them to the airport.
The airport was so crowded with people, the air was filled with the constant hum of announcements, rolling suitcases, and hurried conversations. But as Evangeline, Sereia, and Anakin walked through the VIP section toward their private jet, they were practically invisible beneath their oversized hoodies and dark sunglasses that had been offered by the receptionist.
She saw the flash of a camera at the periphery of her vision.
Well, almost invisible.
Sereia nudged Evangeline. "Think anyone recognizes you?"
Evangeline smirked. "I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I'm trending, after all, they probably know my walking steps and body figure now."
Anakin sighed dramatically. "Great. Now she has an ego."
