Wind whipped against Edward's face at the speed he was going on. The horse's hooves hit the dirt floor with force, sending mud flying behind him as his cloak fluttered against the harsh wind. "You can't keep him in the dark forever, Tesarius. He needs to know."
Sera had said, when Tesarius had denied an explanation to Edward and he had stormed in rather boldly, not ready to give up. However, Tesarius was persistent.
"Leave Edward out of this. Do you wish for his House to fall along with the Evanov's?"
Sera did not have the time to give a response to that, because just then Edward had finally spoken, unable to believe what he just heard. "Along with the Evanov's? what on earth is that supposed to mean? What is going on? Answer me someone!"
So, Sera told him everything.
