Behind the smile she gave, Nicholas could easily see the pain. He felt so angry that he made her like this. This is his fault, and he doesn't know how to make her forgive him. She is hell-bent on getting revenge, and she won't stop until she gets what she wants.
"You've had enough to drink. Now, I think it's best you go home," he said to her, and she hit his hand.
"Don't touch me!"
"Don't you dare touch me. This is the last time you'll ever lay your hands on me," she snapped at him.
"Amber, please, you need to calm down. This isn't the time for this, please," he tried to say to her, but she hit his hand away.
"Don't touch me! Don't touch me!"
Nicholas saw how they were staring at them, and he knew he needed to do something to stop her from shouting or easily take her out of the bar. He got up and went to her side of the seat. She stared at him, confused, as he approached her.
"What is this about? What are you planning to do?" she asked, confused.
