Desperately, she held back Ares's hand, which was reaching for the wine glass served specially by the butler. V's eyes widened in fright, shaking her head.

V vividly saw the suspicious dark green lump moving within the wine in the crystal glass, emitting a deadly stench. How could she ask the butler to take the glass back when Ares was already addressing the guests; giving them a short greeting?
