"He's not awake yet." Karrie muttered staring at jack, sleeping peacefully on the bed. She'd been worried about him not having returned for two days. Even attempting to head out to look for him but luckily, he came back at the right time.
'Is he going to remain asleep till the next day?' She frowned not liking the idea one bit.
"Mhm." Her frown then contorted into a smile, seeing jack let out a low groan. His eyes slowly fluttering open.
"Chief! you're awake." Karrie excitedly shouted a bit seeing jack awake. Her tail softly wagging like an obedient puppy, reuniting with her owner.
"Mhm~" Jack slightly nodded still laying down. His body was still in pain, not a hundred percent. And any slight movement, would result to immense pain coursing through his body.
"The town?" Jack softly uttered to which karrie nodded, understanding what he meant.
