- Glyndon Walton: (Song of the chapter: Meddle About by Chase Atlantic)
The moment I stepped out of the bathroom, still trying to calm the storm raging in my chest, Kathrine was on me.
Before I could say a word, her hand wrapped around my throat, and she slammed my back against her chest, near the door.
My breath caught, my heart pounding so loudly it drowned out my thoughts.
"Let go," I managed to whisper, my voice shaky, but she didn't listen. Her grip wasn't tight enough to hurt—just enough to hold me there, to remind me how strong her control over me was.
Her other hand moved to my waist, trailing down slowly. My body betrayed me instantly, heat pooling in places I didn't want to acknowledge.
"You liked that, didn't you?" she whispered, her lips brushing against my ear. Her voice was low, smug, and utterly confident. "You were dreaming of this. Of me. Dreaming of me making feel good."
