Alden's Pov
"I would love to see your expression, Cedric." I spoke to Cedric as I looked at him calmly "When you get beaten by a rat, that is."
"You dare…" Cedric looked at me for a moment before shouting some normal third rate villain dialogues. I found it amusing how a person can be so easy to trigger.
I was waiting for him to attack me immediately but surprisingly he held himself back. His gaze wandered to the VIP section.
I felt curious too as I also looked in that direction wanting to see what he was looking at. But there was no one there..
'was he perhaps waiting for someone'
I soon understood who he was waiting for as I saw my father walking towards the VIP section but he was not alone as he was with a beautiful woman.
The woman's shining blonde hair mixed with her warm smile made her look kind. But I knew better than to be fooled by some fake smile.
'Those with that kind of smile are always the most dangerous after all.'
