That being the case, he decided to try to help her practice her magical abilities. They had already been practicing the 'creation' part but had hardly delved into the binding part.
Vaerion was bound to her before she had awakened, and Kismet practically threw himself at her and gave himself up to the bond, making their experience limited. So, Vaerion allowed Asuriel to test her binding abilities in a controlled environment.
They were in one of Vaerion's training chambers – an ample, open space for infernal combat practice and other aetheric studies. The devil summoned a few minor, lower-level demons, starting with a hellhound and an infernal crow, for her to bind.
He had them both in cages to avoid injury while she made her binding attempts.
