THUD
The loud sound of a head hitting hardwood flooring echoed throughout the cave as Aoni, who had amazingly enough fallen asleep sitting against the wall, finally slumped over after several hours of rest.
Of Course, the jarring sensation of slamming his head onto the floor was MORE than enough to wake him up, and with a startled noise, the Lad shot upright and looked around the cave with groggy eyes.
"Shit, well, there goes my night of being productive," rubbing his eyes, Aoni yawned loudly and stood up before realizing it was already late enough in the morning that light bathed the interior of the cave.
"Mm,*sniffle*, let's go check on the kids, grab a bite to eat, and then it's back to work," yawning a second time and shuffling his feet as he walked, Aoni crossed the stretch of space between where he'd fallen asleep and the bedroom. However, upon poking his head beyond the doorway, the Lad reached up and rubbed his eyes several more times in confusion.
