The day continued as normal, students were now picking up the habit of waking up early again and teachers purchased more throat medicine for their bursts of screams at the disobedient. Mika and the rest sat in a long lecture given by a professor from an academy across the world, they had brought with them a large artefact that was believed to be able to rob a witch of their magic powers for a short amount of time.
While it did sound very powerful, it was useless due to its size. It took three witches to carry it with magic as it consumed large amounts of essence. It was like a blackhole in flesh, in a class where all students and teachers could use magic, so most students were starting to grow drowsy as their reserves dipped below fifty percent. There were protective measures in place, but that only halved the draining effect.
