The Doom Group, a company founded by Victor von Doom, has a strong personal touch.

Outside the company's headquarters building stands a thirty-foot-tall statue of the chairman, ensuring that everyone who passes by the building can see the chairman's majestic image.

Inside the company, Victor was looking at Reed, who was in disbelief, with a serious face: "I will stop investing in this project, and I will also take back my personal space station."

"Why, Victor? Didn't we already discuss this before?" Reed looked incredulous. He didn't expect that the company would withdraw its investment in the project that had been agreed upon before.

"Tell me, what is the purpose of this project?" Victor said in a flat tone, sitting in a chair with his hands crossed.

"Purpose? Of course, it is to study the composition of cosmic storms and find out the components that are useful to the human body, so as to extend human life and cure diseases."

Reed repeated it word for word, confused as to why Victor would ask this question at this time.

"Then what's the difference between this project and purple energy?" Victor said coldly, "Compared to the illusory magical substances in the cosmic storm, I am ready to invest all the company's funds in the research and development of this new purple energy."

"Compared to your unrealistic project, at least this thing has been proven to be real, and it can even cure Baron's disability." Victor said coldly.

In front of the two of them was a book called "Everyone Can has a chance to be extraordinary", and he himself had successfully trained a bit of purple energy in just one night yesterday.

Not only him, all major biological and pharmaceutical companies have announced that they will join the purple energy analysis program.

On the day when Kevin used his energy, the stocks of those pharmaceutical groups plummeted, and they were on the verge of bankruptcy at any time.

If these pharmaceutical companies do not consider transformation, the purple energy that can make people live a hundred years and avoid all diseases will destroy the roots of these companies.

Victor's words were well-reasoned and well-established, leaving Reed unable to refute him for a moment. However, this project was the result of his years of hard work, and he had given so much, so how could he just give it up in vain?

"Victor, think about it again. We can talk about the profits. How about I give you 80%?" Reed pleaded.

"Impossible, Reed." Victor shook his head grimly and said, "On the contrary, I would like to advise you to join my research project on purple energy."

"You have always been a genius. Come study this new energy with us." Victor extended an olive branch.

"To put it bluntly, purple energy is just a type of energy. With your help, we will be able to research and develop items to store and enhance this energy before other companies." Victor said.

"But the Cosmic Storm Project has been the result of my research over the years." Reed said with great disappointment.

"This is already a failed project, Reed." Victor gave the project a death sentence. Reed shook his head in despair and walked downstairs despite Victor's dissuasion.

Walking out of the company, the cold wind blowing on the street calmed Reed's mind a little.

After cheering up a little, he began to think about how to get the project started again, but a calm voice came from the side: "Dr. Reed?"

Reed looked up and saw a middle-aged man in a black suit with a gentle smile.

"I'm Reed, who are you?" Reed asked in surprise.

"You can call me Coulson." The middle-aged man smiled and stretched out his right hand. "I came to you this time to invite you to join a project."

Reed waved his hand weakly and refused: "Sorry, I don't have any intention of joining other projects now."

"Is it because of the failure of the Solar Storm project?" Coulson said.

Reed subconsciously took a step back and asked cautiously: "How did you know?"

Coulson explained, "We are planning to have you participate in the Sentinel Project where you served for a week. Because your creative solution to the multi-ability rejection problem was amazing, we want you to come back and serve again."

"There are still a few weeks until the solar storm arrives. If you can complete the project's expectations within this period of time, we can also send you into space to study the solar storm."

"This..." Reed hesitated: "Can you really restart my project?"

"Of course, we're just going into space to collect some data." Coulson said confidently. It's just going to space, not going directly to Mars.

"Okay, I promise you." Reed nodded in agreement.

"That's great. This project is still as confidential as before, so during this period of time, please cut off contact with the outside world and don't tell anyone about the project."

Coulson smiled and said, "You have a day to rest. Do you want me to take you back to pack your things?"

"No, let's go now." Reed shook his head.

It's just a matter of solving the sentinel problem, which won't take long. He just needs to spend a few days writing up the research materials and proving that it's feasible, and then he can come back directly.

Soon Reed got into Coulson's car, and as the car slowly started, it soon disappeared at the end of the street.

In the company building, Victor looked at his secretary in astonishment. The news he told made his pupils tremble:

"What did you say? Mr. White is coming to visit our company tomorrow. And the project he is visiting is the one that Reed just abandoned."

"That's right. Wilson, the director of Value Line, just called to confirm and specifically asked to visit your abandoned Cosmic Storm project." The secretary said helplessly.

After the call was hung up, Victor immediately opened his address book and wanted to call Reed, but after making several calls, he always got the answer that no one answered the phone.

"It's over... It's all over." Victor sat on the sofa helplessly, and the coldness on his face turned into heartache.

If Kevin is not satisfied when he comes tomorrow, this great opportunity will be gone.

"Boss, don't be so disappointed. Mr. White might just be here for a visit." The secretary at the side consoled him.

"You know shit. Kevin's coming here is already the biggest gimmick." Victor scolded.

Kevin White is now a world-famous figure. When the time comes, he just needs to come and visit the company. Once the news gets out, the company's stock price and market value will double.

The same would apply if he was not satisfied. Once the news got out, their company would be finished.

"Damn it, I can't keep being so decadent."

Victor's eyes became firm again. He took out his cell phone and called the other participants in the project, determined to keep Kevin interested at all costs.
