Deputy Officer Curtis was working on his backlog when he heard two people rushing over to his office.
He activated the automatic doors, figuring that no one would be running like that if there was no actual emergency.
"Speak." He commanded, especially after watching the two soldiers stare at each other hesitantly.
"Sir! There seems to be an anomaly in the Guild Rankings."
"The Guild Rankings? So, you mean to tell me you guys ran over here for that?!" Curtis asked in exasperation.
"Sir, we didn't feel the need to report it when it was just that. But, Sir, right about now, we're getting landing permission requests from over hundreds of ships."
"Hundreds of ships?!"
"Hundreds of Battleships, Sir!" We look like we're under attack! But all of them are just asking for permission to land!"
"What?! Show me! And what does that have to do with an anomaly in the Guild Rankings?!"
