It was a tiring day.
And that's putting it lightly.
Today was emotionally overwhelming, and for many of these people, it likely marked the first time they've cried in a long while.
And while their outbursts were primarily due to joy, relief, and hope, this didn't change how people felt spent after today.
To think they haven't even spent that long inside the space, which was something they would eventually realize once they got out.
People were working while their eyes were bugged out, but at least they were smiling.
It was just comical, but who wouldn't find everything amusing when many of them had just been told they'd been cleansed of contamination after waking up in the sick bed?
These "punished" soldiers had no place to vent and could only cry, laugh, or both. They didn't think their life concerns would be solved just by attending a banquet.
