All of the darkness inside Cassius had been successfully converted into the essence needed to progress his Azura Refinement Physique.
When he first embarked on the progression journey of this particular Physique, he had to take the darkness and evenly spread it throughout his body. Once his body became saturated to a certain point by the darkness, a breakthrough in the Physique would occur.
The Azura Refinement Physique was split into 12 levels. Each level not only improved one's Physique attributes—like strength, speed, and reaction speed—but each new level also magnified the lethality of the Azura Flame.
Once all of the darkness had been refined and circulated by Cassius, he rocketed straight up from the 1st Level to the 3rd, causing his physical prowess to spiral upward! He figured that even if he were to fight something like the Soul Eater, he would not be too far away from being evenly matched!
