Chapter 81 - opppp! that was an accident!

Pov Tharros

I woke up early, feeling the warm sunlight peeking through the trees. I stretched my wings and arched my back, giving a good yawn to signal the start of my day. I was snuggled up under Father's wing, where I always slept, feeling safe and protected.

I looked up at Father, who was still sleeping, his chest rising and falling with slow, peaceful breaths. I felt a mix of concern and love, remembering yesterday's belly-poking adventure. It had been fun, but I didn't mean to hurt him. I was relieved that he was okay, and I made a mental note to be more careful in the future.

I gently slid out from under Father's wing, trying not to disturb him, and took to the skies. The wind ruffled my scales as I soared above the forest, feeling the thrill of freedom and joy. I spotted a few birds flying in the distance and chased after them, playing a game of aerial tag.

After a while, I flew back to Father, who was now awake and watching me with a warm smile.

"Good morning, Tharros," he said, his voice low and rumbling. "I see you're feeling energetic today."

I landed beside him, puffing out my chest proudly. "I'm always energetic, Father!" I exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.

Father chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I know, son. I know."

Father smiled. "Now let go outside to teach you how to use your teleportation skills!"

I bounced up and down beside Father, excitement radiating from every scale. "Really, Father? You're going to teach me how to teleport?" I asked, my voice trembling.

Father nodded, his smile growing wider. "Yes, Tharros. You're getting older, and it's time you learned. It's a powerful ability, and I'm excited to see you master it."

I let out a squeal of delight, and Father chuckled, his eyes shining with pride. "Let's get started," he said, spreading his wings. I followed suit, and together we took to the skies, soaring above the forest as our lesson began.

Father sighed "look let teach you how to teleport others, so let go out to the forest and fly!"

I grinned, thrilled to start learning. "Yes, Father! Let's go!" I exclaimed, already taking off into the sky. Father followed close behind, his wings beating powerful and steady.

As we flew over the forest, the wind rushing past my scales, Father called out, "Okay, Tharros! Now, watch closely! I'm going to teleport to that tree over there!" He pointed to a tall oak in the distance.

I followed Father's gaze to the tree, my eyes fixed intently on the spot where he intended to teleport. Father took a deep breath, focused his energy, and then... vanished.

I blinked, amazed, as Father reappeared beside the oak tree. He smiled at me, his eyes shining with encouragement. "Now it's your turn, Tharros! Just focus your energy, visualize where you want to go, and... teleport!"

We go went down and landed

We descended slowly, our wings beating in unison, and landed softly beside the oak tree. Father looked at me with a serious expression, his eyes locked onto mine.

"Remember, Tharros, teleportation requires focus and control. Don't get discouraged if you don't get it right away. Just keep practicing, and you'll get the hang of it."

I nodded eagerly, my mind racing with excitement. I was ready to learn, and I was determined to master this new skill.

Father nodded, seemingly satisfied with my determination. "Good. Now, let's start with a simple exercise. I want you to teleport to that rock over there," he said, pointing to a nearby boulder.

I focused my eyes on the rock, taking a deep breath as I concentrated my energy. I could feel my heart pounding with excitement, and my scales tingling with anticipation.

"Remember, Tharros, visualize yourself at the destination, and let your energy take you there," Father reminded me, his voice calm and encouraging.

Suddenly we saw a juvenile behemoth and I decided to teleport it and when I did I heard Father grunted.

And when I look behind me, I see Father Belly is bulging and moving.

I gasped, my eyes wide with surprise and concern. "Father! What's happening?" I exclaimed, as I watched in horror.

The juvenile behemoth, now teleported to our location, looked around in confusion, but I hardly noticed. My attention was fixed on Father, whose belly was indeed bulging and moving ominously.

Father grunted again, his face contorted in discomfort. "Tharros... I think you... teleported the behemoth... inside me," he groaned, his voice strained.

Father fell to the ground as the behemoth tried to break free

I watched in shock and terror as Father's body began to convulse, his scales rattling violently as the behemoth struggled to break free from inside him.

The behemoth's roars echoed from within Father's belly, causing the ground to shake beneath our feet. I stumbled backward, my eyes fixed on the horrific scene unfolding before me.

"Father! No! Please!" I screamed, my voice hoarse with panic. I didn't know what to do, or how to help Father. The behemoth's thrashing was getting more intense, and I feared the worst.

Just as I thought the behemoth was about to burst out of Father's body, it suddenly stopped moving. The roars ceased, and an eerie silence fell over the clearing. Father's convulsions slowed, and then stopped, his body lying still on the ground.

I cautiously approached Father, my heart racing with fear. "Father? Father, please answer me!" I pleaded, my voice shaking.

Slowly, Father's eyes flickered open, and he looked up at me with a mixture of pain and relief. "Tharros... son..." he whispered, his voice weak but reassuring.

I let out a sob of relief, collapsing beside Father's head. "I'm so sorry, Father! I didn't mean to... I didn't know what to do!" I cried, tears streaming down my face.

Father's gaze locked onto mine, and he managed a weak smile. "It's... okay, Tharros. I'll... be fine. Just... get... the behemoth... out..."

My ears folded back, and I lowered my head and cried and whimpered

Father's weak smile faltered, and he reached out with a trembling claw to gently stroke my head. "Shh, Tharros... don't cry, son. I'm going to be okay. I just need you to... help me get the behemoth out," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

I sniffled and whimpered, trying to compose myself. I knew Father needed me to be strong. I took a deep breath and looked up at him, my eyes still brimming with tears. "I'll try, Father. I'll try to get it out," I promised, my voice shaking.

I question, "But how to get it out?"

Father's gaze drifted off, his eyes squinting in concentration. "I think... I can guide you... through the process... But you'll need... to focus... your energy..." he trailed off, wincing in pain.

I leaned in closer, my ears perked up, trying to catch every word. "Focus my energy? How, Father?" I asked, desperation creeping into my voice.

Father's eyes locked onto mine, his gaze burning with intensity. "Use... your teleportation... to push the behemoth... out of me... Visualize... the behemoth... emerging from my body..." he whispered, his words barely audible.

I place my claws on Father Belly to check it if it is alive or not

I stumbled backward, my eyes wide with shock and horror. "Father, no! There's another one!" I exclaimed, my voice trembling with fear.

Father's eyes snapped open, and he looked at me with a mixture of pain and alarm. "What... what do you mean?" he whispered, his voice strained.

I took a step back, my heart racing with fear. "I felt it, Father! There's another behemoth inside you!" I cried, my voice echoing through the clearing.

Father's face contorted in agony, and he let out a mighty roar. His body began to convulse, and his belly expanded even further. I knew I had to act fast, or risk losing Father forever.

I thought to myself,'Did I accidentally teleport another to fat stomach?"

My eyes widened in realization, and I felt a wave of panic wash over me. "Oh no, oh no, oh no... I think I did it again!" I thought to myself, my mind racing with horror.

I had been trying to help Father, but it seemed I had only made things worse. The thought of another behemoth inside Father's stomach, struggling to get out, was almost too much to bear.

I looked at Father, who was still convulsing in pain, and felt a surge of determination. I had to fix this, no matter what it took. I took a deep breath, focused my energy, and tried again.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. I knew I had to focus and find a way to get the behemoths out of Father's body. I looked at Father, his convulsions getting worse, and I knew I had to act fast.

"Father, I'm going to try again. I'll try to teleport the behemoths out of you," I said, trying to sound calm and confident.

Father's eyes locked onto mine, and he nodded weakly. "Do... it, Tharros. Save... me," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

I nodded, took a deep breath, and focused my energy. I placed my claws on Father's belly, feeling the behemoths moving inside. I closed my eyes, visualized the behemoths being teleported out, and pushed my energy forward.

And when I did, I heard something dead falling behind me

I spun around, my eyes snapping open, and that's when I saw it. A behemoth, lifeless and still, lay on the ground behind me. I felt a mix of relief and horror, realizing that I had successfully teleported one of the behemoths out of Father's body.

But my relief was short-lived, as I heard Father's agonized roar behind me. I turned back to him, and my heart sank. His belly was still bulging, and I knew that there was still another behemoth inside him, struggling to get out.

I rushed back to Father's side, my claws extended in preparation for another attempt. "Father, I'm going to try again! I have to get the other one out!" I exclaimed, my voice laced with determination.

Father's eyes were closed, his face contorted in pain, but he nodded weakly. His body was shaking violently, and his scales were starting to crack and break apart under the pressure.

I took a deep breath, focused my energy once more, and placed my claws on Father's belly. I could feel the second behemoth moving inside, its presence making my skin crawl. I gritted my teeth, visualized the behemoth being teleported out, and pushed my energy forward with all my might.

The air around me seemed to ripple and distort as I poured all my energy into the teleportation. Father's body began to glow with a faint, blue light, and I could feel the behemoth inside him resisting, fighting against the energy.

Suddenly, the light vanished, and Father's body jerked violently. I stumbled backward, my claws slipping off his belly. And then, I saw it. The second behemoth emerged from Father's body, its massive form crashing to the ground mere feet away.

But to my horror, this behemoth was not lifeless like the first one. It was alive, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy as it struggled to free itself from the remnants of Father's teleportation energy.

I impaling it with my earth magic using a sharp spike that came out of the ground

The earth beneath the behemoth's massive form began to tremble and shudder. A sharp, jagged spike of stone erupted from the ground, shooting upward with deadly precision. The spike impaled the behemoth, piercing its scaly hide and sinking deep into its flesh.

The behemoth let out a deafening roar as it tried to struggle free, but the spike held fast. The earth around us continued to tremble, and I could feel the magic coursing through the ground, responding to my will.

As the behemoth's struggles weakened, I felt a surge of relief wash over me. I had saved Father, and I had protected our land from the monstrous creature. But as I turned to check on Father, my heart sank once more. He lay motionless on the ground, his body battered and broken from the ordeal.

I rushed to Father's side, my heart racing with worry. I gently nudged his face with my snout, trying to rouse him. "Father? Father, please wake up!" I begged, my voice shaking with fear.

Father's eyes flickered open, and he gazed up at me weakly. He tried to speak, but his voice was barely a whisper. "Tharros... my son... I'm proud of you..." he whispered, his words trailing off into a faint cough.

I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked at Father's broken form. I knew I had to get him help, and fast. I gently wrapped my claws around him, trying not to cause him more pain. "I'll get you to Mother, Father. She'll heal you," I promised, trying to sound confident.

Father slowly got up, even though after I teleported a few alive behemoths and removed it, he still able to get up

I watched in amazement as Father slowly, painfully, got to his feet. His body was battered and bruised, his scales cracked and broken, but he refused to give up. He stood tall, his eyes locked on mine, and I could see the pride and gratitude shining in them.

"Tharros, my son," he said, his voice weak but full of emotion. "You saved me. You saved our land. I am proud to call you my son."

I felt a surge of pride and love for Father, and I knew that I would do anything to protect him and our family. I nodded, trying to hold back tears of relief and joy. "I'll always protect you, Father. And our family."

Father nodded, a small smile on his face. "I know you will, Tharros. Now, let us go find your mother. She will be worried about us."

I smiled. "Don't worry, I wat here until you came back after seeing Mother!"

Father's smile grew a bit wider, and he nodded, his eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you, Tharros. I won't be long. I just need to... reassure your mother that I'm alright," he said, his voice a bit stronger now.

He turned to leave, but then paused and looked back at me. "And Tharros? Be more careful with your teleportation. I know you're still learning, but... well, you saw what happened. Let's work on your control when I get back."

I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and embarrassment. I had accidentally teleported the behemoths inside Father, and I knew I had a lot to learn about controlling my powers. "I will, Father. I'll practice," I promised.

Father nodded, a hint of a smile still on his face. "I know you will, Tharros. You're a quick learner. Just remember, control is key. Don't get discouraged if it takes time to master."

With that, he turned and began to make his way back to our nest, his movements slow and labored. I watched him go, feeling a mix of emotions: relief that he was okay, guilt for accidentally teleporting the behemoths inside him, and determination to improve my teleportation skills.

As I stood there, I heard a faint rustling in the bushes nearby. I turned to see what it was, my senses on high alert.

I turned my head, my ears perked up, and my eyes scanning the surrounding area. The rustling grew louder, and I could tell that whatever was making the noise was moving through the underbrush, heading in my direction.

I took a step back, my claws instinctively extending, ready to defend myself if necessary. As I waited, a small, furry creature emerged from the bushes, its beady eyes looking up at me.

It was a cave mouse, a small rodent that was common in our mountain cave. I let out a sigh of relief, retracting my claws. The mouse scurried around my feet, seemingly unafraid of me.

I watched it for a moment, a small smile on my face. It was a tiny, insignificant creature, but it was a reminder that even in the midst of turmoil and danger, like the behemoths that had just attacked Father, there was still beauty and life to be found.

I continued to watch the mouse, mesmerized by its carefree movements. But as the moments passed, my thoughts began to drift back to Father. I hoped he was okay, and that Mother was taking care of him.

Just as I was starting to worry, I heard the sound of rustling wings and footsteps echoing through the cave. I turned to see Father returning, his wings spread wide as he landed gently on the ground.

He looked a bit better, but I could still see the strain of his ordeal on his face. He smiled weakly at me, and I could sense his relief and gratitude.

"Tharros, I'm glad to see you're safe," he said, his voice still a bit shaky. "And I see you've made a new friend." He nodded towards the mouse, which was still scurrying around my feet.

I smiled, feeling a sense of normalcy return. "Yes, Father. I'm glad you're back. How are you feeling?"

Father's smile grew a bit wider, and he took a deep breath before responding. "I'm feeling... better, thanks to your mother's care. She's patching me up as we speak." He chuckled, a low rumbling sound. "I'm just glad those behemoths are gone. I don't think I could have handled much more of that."

I nodded, feeling a pang of guilt for accidentally teleporting the behemoths inside Father. But he didn't seem to hold it against me, and instead, he reached out with a claw and gently ruffled my scales.

"Let's just focus on getting me fully recovered, and then we can work on your teleportation skills, okay?" he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

I smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "Okay, Father. I'd like that."

Father nodded, his expression turning serious for a moment. "Good. I think it's time we got back to the nest. Your mother will want to keep an eye on me, and I'm sure she's worried about you too."

I nodded in agreement, and Father turned to lead the way back to our nest. I followed close behind, the cave mouse scurrying along beside me.

As we walked, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my family's love and support. Even though I had made a mistake with my teleportation, they didn't scold or punish me. Instead, they offered me kindness and understanding.

We soon arrived at the nest, and Mother greeted us with a warm smile. "Ah, Tharros, I'm so glad you're safe," she said, nuzzling me gently.

Father settled into the nest, looking relieved to be off his feet. "I'm fine, my dear," he assured Mother. "Just a bit battered and bruised."

Mother nodded, her eyes shining with concern. "I'll take care of you," she promised. "And Tharros, why don't you go get some rest? You've had a big day."

I nodded, feeling a yawn creeping up on me. I was tired, but I was also happy to see Father safe and sound. I looked over at him, and he smiled weakly at me.

"Go on, Tharros," he said. "Get some rest. I'll be fine."

I nodded again, then turned to Mother. "Thank you, Mother," I said, nuzzling her gently.

She smiled and nuzzled me back. "Anytime, dear. Now off to bed with you."

I nodded, then turned and made my way over to Father. I snuggled up under his wing, feeling safe and protected. Father wrapped his wing around me, holding me close.

"Sleep tight, Tharros," he whispered.

I smiled, feeling my eyes grow heavy. "I love you, Father," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

"I love you too, Tharros," Father replied, his voice full of warmth and affection.

With that, I drifted off to sleep, surrounded by the warmth and love of my family.
