Chapter 194 - Battle Start

Rock hid in the canopy of the tree, watching as one after another of what looked like normal looking like trainers who had come to take in Pokémon walked through the doorway in front of him.

"One, two, three... ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen... twenty-four, twenty-five... hiss," Rock sucked in a breath of cool air, suddenly feeling a chill run down his back...

Damn it. It made sense that this number of two dozen people in front of them were here to deal with him and Rock.

He and Rock really couldn't handle that kind of number.

But fortunately, they didn't have to take the blame for this. When he thought about it, he really thanked that Rope guy who appeared out of nowhere...

Bullshit! What was there to thank about that guy! That guy completely ruined his perfect plan, making his goal of getting promoted, getting a raise, marrying a rich girl, and going to the top of the ladder in life go further and further away.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, can you hear me? There are 25 people on their side, the Pokémon around them didn't show up, but judging by the demeanor they should all be veterans who have been in the wilderness for quite some time."

Rock picked up the walkie-talkie to talk to the person on the other side of the room in a tone that wasn't very nice, obviously not out of the state of mind he had just been in, but the good thing was that the information was precise and clear.

"Okay, got it, be careful, you guys when their main target."

Rope's voice came out of the receiver, his tone calm and even a little concerned.

Rock had wanted to say something weird, whatever it was, just to express his displeasure with this Rope guy. But in the end, he just opened his mouth and said nothing.

"Fine, fine, got it!"

Rock impatiently turned off the walkie-talkie, and then looked at the back of those people who left not far away, looking at the direction they went forward, they should have already determined the location of the cave where he and Rock were hiding at that time...

Rock was silent for a moment, and then rolled his eyes at no one in particular, and then quietly Lunatone used Confusion to put himself under the tree.

"Is there really nothing wrong with not having a battle plan?"

Rock muttered.

It was still hard for him to accept that there wasn't even a plan for something this big, knowing that it was everyone's little lives riding on that guy.

But thinking back to the scene where Rope said with a certainty that these were minor matters and there was no need to make a plan, Rock thought, that guy, probably, maybe, might still be trustworthy.

"Forget it, what the hell... I'm the one who caused this anyway, so the big deal is that I'll end up dead... let's try to buy them some time to evacuate."

Rock scratched his head and said with an annoyed expression. It could be seen that he didn't think much of Rope's approach...

After saying that, he didn't leave from the other direction as planned, but instead stayed far behind the line of Pokémon dealers. He was ready to strike at any time.

One person doing a job is one person's job! There is no need to involve everyone to die with him, there may not be much he can do to win, but he Rock can still do this kind of thing to give them time to retreat.

"Rope, are you sure you're okay?"

Gen asked helplessly as he looked at Rope's leaping expression.

Rope waved his hand and said, "This little minion is nothing, Red and the others were much more dangerous than this back then."

[I'm thinking that you can't beat Red either... so you're taking on Red here? You're still a new trainer! Don't be so arrogant!]

Gen thought helplessly. Then he looked at the little girl who was holding Foongus to the side and watching the show, that little girl called Whitley didn't seem to have a little bit of nervousness, she was still using Rope's permission to brush the cultivation material purchasing webpage over there...

"Just Outrageous"

Gen glanced at his cell phone, looking at the top of the list of the number that can be dialed at any time, and he also let out a sigh of relief. Gen looked at his cell phone and was relieved to see the number on the top of the list that could be dialed at any time.

He was also the one who had outside help so that he wouldn't have to worry about that worst-case scenario coming up. As for the kind of enemy that was so powerful that they couldn't fight it off, Gen didn't really think they'd ever meet one, after all, that kind of person putting aside a good trainer status in favor of being a Pokémon peddler was a thing that just didn't make sense.

As for Rope, he genuinely thought it was a small battle, though he didn't know why Gen didn't know about himself, and he could only assume that Gen was being kept from some information by the family. After all, when you're out in the world, it's understandable that you're not well-informed...

That said, lately it feels like both the Nariga and Kamine families are being secretive, or rather most of the family powers seem to be secretly messing with something lately. Rope isn't really worried about it. After all, the Oak family has started to move their power out of the region, and the real controllers of the Alola region are the four Legendary Pokémon of the Kapu family.

As long as they don't violate the rules of the Kapu family, the Oak family can control the entire Alola region in the dark.

As for the Ether Foundation? It was still too young compared to the Oak family.

Moreover, the Kapu family, the person in control in the open, the Oak family is not impossible to deal with...

After all, they have Rope in their midst! After all, they have Rope! Or rather, it's Rope's existence that gives them the confidence to control the entire Alola.

Rope, who has a face in front of so many Legendary Pokémon, will be underestimated when facing the Kapu family? Odds are no...

And this basically cuts the Oak family off from the other families in the Kanto region, which is one of the opportunities that allowed Blue to reject the union on his own. Of course the main reason is that Blue is strong enough, so strong that no one can force him to make a choice.

Actually, Rope thought of Daisy, who by all rights should have been brought up about the union...

But as it stands, Rope's push for the Oak's to move out of the house seems to be a good thing. At least it gives Daisy and Blue enough freedom...

As for whether or not the Kanto region is in the dark right now, and whether or not the League and the clans are on the verge of starting a fight, it's none of the Oak's business anymore.

As long as the Oak family says they want to stay neutral, no one can force the Oak family to take sides. Don't ask, ask is what three champions and two professors bring to the table.

That's three champions, two professors, and with Rope it's about to be four. every trainer from Red, or Pallet Town for that matter, is treated like an Oak. After all, that's the Oak family's birthplace.

After all, whether it's Professor Oak, Red, Blue or Rope, when introduced to the public, they all say that they are the trainers of Pallet Town, not the trainers of the Oak family.

In the distance, several black dots had appeared in Rope's field of vision.Rope had a big smile on his face before removing all the Pokeballs from his waist.

"Come on out guys, move your muscles and get ready for the next dojo battle."

Growlithe: "Ow!!!!┗|`O′|┛Wuu!!"

Charmeleon: "Roar!!!"

Chimchar: "Roar-ah!"

Entei: "Roar!!!"

Gen: ...

You have Entei why didn't you say earlier????
