Chapter 140 - Reactions

Pallet Town Oak Research Center

Blue was mesmerized by the Pokémonology magazine in his hands. Upon closer inspection, he's also looking at Rope's paper. Not far away from the lab bench, Professor Oak was cooking instant noodles in a beaker, and then asked with interest, "How's it going, Rope's paper is still at a good level, isn't it?"

It sounded like he was showing off his grandchildren to someone...

Blue's mouth twitched...

"Grandpa, I'm your real grandson! Rope is adopted!"

Of course, this is only said in his heart, everyone knows that Rope is no different from his own, not only his own grandson, but also his own brother...it's just that Daisy is suffering.

"Tsk~ What's there to be proud of, that guy's papers were all written by himself by finding materials and then letting his sister do the writing. I'm looking at my sister's writing, not his materials!"

Blue replied after giving a 'tsk'.

Professor Oak shrugged and didn't say anything, staring straight at the noodles with both eyes. It was not easy for Daisy to go out to participate in the Gorgeous Competition, so she finally got the chance to eat noodles!

Seeing the noodles becoming soft in the boiling water, and the aroma gradually emanating from the beaker, Professor Oak couldn't help but gulp a mouthful of water.

Blue put down the magazine in her hand, glanced at Professor Oak, made a "tsk" sound, and then said, "Grandpa, cook one for me too!"

Mt. Silver

Red touched the head of Dragonite who came to deliver the newspaper...

Then he took the paper away and smiled and touched Dragonite's head...

Dragonite doesn't like to have his head touched...

But the guy next to Red was too strong...

The silver-white Pokémon with a purple tail and belly by Red's side just stood there, and Dragonite felt a huge sense of oppression welling up in his heart, and at the same time didn't dare to make any movements, but could only look at Red with a smile on his face.

Red waved his hand at him to indicate that he could leave, Dragonite sighed with relief, and then pulled out a placard from his backpack.

It read, "Dragonite Courier, Fastest and Safest!"

It didn't forget to advertise in front of Mewtwo. This was Dragonite being very professional!

Red nodded appreciatively as he looked at the back of Dragonite, who had gone away in a hurry.

Then he turned back to Mewtwo, whose face was slightly gloomy, and waved the magazine he had spent a large sum of money to express in his hand.

True - books didn't cost as much as courier fees...

"Is this the other person you were going to tell me about? What's so special about this one?"

Mewtwo asked, rather puzzled. Voicing it telepathically, Rope would have felt himself crumble a bit if he had been there.

Because this Mewtwo's voice in telepathy here, was a female voice...

Is this the theater version of Mewtwo crossing over again????

"It's just more like you." Red said briefly with a smile.

Mewtwo nodded noncommittally, then waited quietly for Red to follow.

Sinnoh Region League Headquarters

Flint nestled in the sofa, tilted his head, raised the magazine above his head, and tsked in admiration while reading it, "Gee, Professor Rope's research is really subversive. Legendary Pokémon are an important force in maintaining world stability. It's also completely contrary to the way we within the League have been thinking of Legendary Pokémon as unstable time bombs!"

Aaron nestled on the sofa across from him, looking at the magazine with the same stance as him, listened to Flint's words and said, "Not surprisingly, our knowledge of Legendary Pokémon is supposed to be minimal, and we don't know the geometry of those Legendary tale-like documents that can be believed. It's normal to have misunderstandings about the significance of Legendary Pokémon's existence. After all, humans talking about gods is something to laugh about."

Lucian's right elbow was propped up on his desk, the palm of his right hand resting on his face, while his left hand was signing papers uncontrollably, either agreeing or returning them.

Veins appeared on his forehead, and he roared, "You two guys! Even if you want to slack off, can you please not do it in front of me? What's the difference between you and a slut!!!"

Hearing Lucian's words, Flint and Aaron almost simultaneously turned their heads to look at Lucian, then looked at him with a look of contempt.

Flint said with contempt, "Lucian, we recognize that having fetish is free. But I would still suggest you see a doctor. This is not =good..."

Aaron was also contemptuous, "That's it!"

Lucian was so angry that his face turned red, but it was indeed his own momentary slip of the tongue, so he didn't know how to retort.

After being angry for a while, Lucian directly raised the two people's magazines into the air, and then ruthlessly smashed them down!

Looking at the scene of Aaron and Flint covering their noses and howling, Lucian relieved a lot of anger, breathed a sigh of relief, and then continued to deal with the documents.

There was still a lot of work to be done!

And just a short distance away, in Cynthia's office, were three people gathered around a Pokémonology magazine. The three women over here looked at Rope's piece of paper with different colors.

Cynthia was full of pride, Shauntal had a look of having found rare new material, and Caitlin...she was the one who was simply shocked.

But being shocked is rather normal...it's weird to look like Shauntal with her head full of new material...

But after all, novels are written with a clear mind...so it's not hard to understand...

"Cynthia, this statement from Professor Rope is really...interesting!" Shauntal looked up after reading the last word of this paper and said with a rakish smile on his face.

Cynthia smiles haughtily, but that pride simply overflows...

"That's for sure, but it's no fun.Rope's claim is going to turn a lot of people's perceptions upside down." It wasn't hard for Cynthia to hear a note of concern even in her proud tone.

Rope's claim was naturally recognized by the Professors. But there were still many people in League who would be unhappy with this statement.

After all, there were not a few trainers who died from inexplicable aoe. And among these trainers, there are some who are in high positions. These people, after seeing Rope's paper, which was obviously telling people to try not to go to Legendary Pokémon, would definitely be dissatisfied. There's bound to be resentment.

In time, they themselves couldn't find, much less beat, Legendary Pokémon, but that didn't stop them from attacking Rope, the one who had taken the side of the Divine Beast in their eyes.

Though we all know that these people are just incompetent and raging. But a rabid dog in a cage was distracting even if it couldn't bite anyone.

Caitlin snorted disdainfully and said, "What's so scary about those guys. Just strangle them all one by one if they dare to jump out!"

And at this moment...

Rope, who was in the middle of a storm of importance, was discussing the lesson plan for the lecture with Whitley...
