Chapter Ten
Sabrina's Point of View

The wind howled through the castle as the storm outside raged on. The distant rumble of thunder seemed to match the turbulence inside me. The power that surged through my veins, the darkness that I had embraced, felt like it was alive gnawing at my very core, urging me to do things I wasn't sure I could control.
I stood before the grand mirror in the throne room, my reflection staring back at me. The crown, heavy and gleaming, sat atop my head, but instead of filling me with triumph, it only deepened the emptiness within. My hands clenched into fists as the weight of the kingdom's bloodshed pressed down on my shoulders.
It was everything I had fought for and yet, I didn't feel victorious.
The door creaked open, and Peter stepped into the room, his presence always commanding attention. His silver eyes locked with mine, and a faint smirk curled at the corners of his lips.
