Tsunade said, "Once tomorrow's matter is resolved, I'll ask the old man to help find some suitable candidates for you.
The Hatake clan's numbers are too thin, and it wouldn't hurt to leave behind more descendants. Surely, you wouldn't want Kakashi running around with a group of little girls forever, would you?"
Having the Third Hokage retire to play matchmaker?
Takuya tried to maintain a serious expression, resisting the urge to burst out laughing.
After all, he was a professionally trained individual—no matter how funny the situation, he wouldn't laugh.
"Pfft—hahaha…"
"Sorry, I couldn't hold it in. Your idea is just too hilarious."
Takuya couldn't help but picture the Third Hokage dressed in a loose robe, his wrinkled face beaming with a cheerful smile, running around matchmaking for Sakumo Hatake and Nawaki.
Oh no, my stomach hurts from laughing.
"Tsunade, that's a fantastic idea. If the Hokage has nothing to do, let him find Nawaki a wife. He can have lots of kids and expand the Senju bloodline," Kushina said, laughing so hard she fell onto Takuya.
Instead of heading to the Hokage's office, Tsunade had come to Takuya's house to share her thoughts.
Takuya supported her idea of reinstating the Senju surname.
The Senju clan's forced "civilianization" had been an effort to prevent the clan from becoming too dominant and influencing the Hokage's authority. But now that the Senju clan was a relic of the past, there was no harm in reviving the name.
They could even bring back some individuals with close familial ties to the clan.
As for the main family, it was all up to Nawaki.
Good thing Nawaki wasn't here, Takuya thought. He'd probably cry if he heard this.
Why does the burden of continuing the Senju clan fall entirely on me? It's not fair!
Uchiha Mikoto, meanwhile, was laughing so hard she was nearly in tears.
She felt fortunate the Uchiha didn't face such problems. After all, the Boruto era had shown the Uchiha reduced to near extinction, with only two remaining members.
Even Uchiha Sasuke's child was a girl…
Once she married, the Uchiha would essentially be history.
Unless Sasuke had more children, the Uchiha name would fade away entirely.
The originally quiet Training Ground Four had been transformed by ninjutsu into a full-fledged arena.
"I didn't expect it to be this lively," Minato remarked as he entered the arena with Nawaki and Takuya.
Looking at the packed audience, Nawaki exclaimed dramatically, "Look at that! The stands are almost full. I heard ticket sales alone brought in a huge amount of revenue for the village."
"No matter how much revenue there is, don't expect a single cent of it to come your way," Minato said, shaking his head and delivering a verbal jab.
You're not a kid anymore—why are you still so over-the-top? Minato thought. Anyone who knows you might laugh, but those who don't would think you've lost your mind.
"Get lost," Nawaki retorted, his face turning red. He promptly gave Minato the middle finger, to which Minato responded with double the disdain.
Watching the two wave their middle fingers at each other, Takuya sighed, raised his hand, and forcibly stopped their childish antics.
With their necks grabbed, both Nawaki and Minato instantly behaved.
"You two realize there are people secretly watching everywhere in this arena, right? Aren't you worried about embarrassing yourselves?"
"Ahem… Takuya, are you sure about this?" Nawaki asked hesitantly.
"What could go wrong?"
Takuya replied with a faint smile, holding Snowy, who had burrowed into his arms, as he leisurely made his way to the waiting room.
"Who says summoning beasts can't be used in a ninja duel?"
"Besides, the referee is one of our own. Even if the Hidden Cloud has objections, they'll just have to suck it up."
Takuya wasn't trying to flaunt power, but he was simply stating facts.
Summoning beasts were an integral part of a ninja's strength. Nowhere in the ninja code did it say that summoning beasts couldn't participate in battles.
If such a rule existed, entire clans like the Inuzuka would protest en masse.
"By the way, your sister mentioned that you're getting older and suggested having the Hokage help arrange a marriage for you," Takuya said casually, cutting Nawaki's rambling short.
Discipline your younger brother early, Takuya thought. Otherwise, he'll rebel once his wings grow strong.
Bringing up Tsunade was the most effective way to handle Nawaki.
"…"
Oh, give me a break.
As expected, the moment Takuya mentioned Tsunade, Nawaki fell silent and rolled his eyes. "Even if the Hokage retires, he wouldn't stoop to something like that."
"But what if he does?" Takuya said with a half-smile. "It's a good opportunity."
"Yeah," Minato chimed in mischievously. "Didn't you have a crush on one of Mikoto's colleagues? If the Hokage helps with matchmaking, I'm sure the Uchiha will agree."
"Get lost, both of you!"
Nawaki's face turned bright red—not from anger but from sheer embarrassment.
Though he often acted carefree and boisterous, he was still a simple and inexperienced young man. He'd never been in a relationship, though he had his share of crushes.
In the waiting room, noticing Takuya's arrival, Tsunade opened the door and gestured for him to come inside.
But when she saw Nawaki's flushed face, she frowned and scolded, "Why are you so red in the face this early in the morning? Did you do something bad? Were you sneaking off to the bookstore again?"
Recently, Jiraiya had released a few risqué novels that were wildly popular in the ninja world, selling like hotcakes.
Nawaki happened to be one of Jiraiya's devoted readers.
Reading wasn't an issue—adult content was fine too, given that Nawaki was of age.
The problem was getting caught red-handed by his sister. That was where things got tricky.
"Pfft—" Takuya burst into laughter.
Minato was equally amused.
"I didn't!" Nawaki protested, his face turning from red to black in frustration.
"Then why is your face so red?" Tsunade asked, raising an eyebrow. She issued a stern warning, "Let me tell you this—don't even think about imitating Jiraiya, or I'll break your legs. Understood?"
Nawaki: "…"
He fell into silent despair.
What's going on?
Watching her brother's aggrieved and dejected expression, Tsunade began to wonder if she'd been too harsh. She glanced at Takuya for an explanation.
Takuya smirked as he walked past her into the waiting room, sitting on the bench. Stroking Snowy's head, he shot a glance at the despondent Nawaki and teased, "He's probably got a crush on someone."
"Who?"
Pulling her brother into the waiting room, Tsunade shut the door with a loud bang, suddenly full of energy.
She had always been deeply invested in her brother's future—particularly his love life.
Don't say anything!
If you do, we're not brothers anymore!
Nawaki's wide, pleading eyes darted between Minato and Takuya, filled with fear. He dreaded the idea of Tsunade making it public knowledge.
If that happened, he'd rather die than face the humiliation.
