Chapter 12 - Chapter 11 - Discussions And New Faces

"No reason to have anything against you?" She asks with a scoff. "I detest you and everything you stand for." She exclaims before storming off her two friends in tow. I sigh, confusion mars my face. She just flops down back in her seat sending hateful glares my way.

"I don't get that girl" I tell Keeva and Nakoda as I flop down on my seat already socially exhausted from that encounter.

Two rather worried classmates who are seated in the row behind me voice their careful yet worried questions. "Miss Black, do you feel well?" asks the girl. She seems like an elegant person, her movements like that of a professional ballet dancer. Her black hair is partially braided falling down her back in soft waves, meanwhile, her pastel blue eyes hold deep worry in them. Anna Carissa Grace is the name my system informs me about. It matches her perfectly.

Jane Anita Kindness the girl right next to her. A pastel-blue hair frames her face in a curly bob, her pink eyes enhance her bubbly kind aura. "Do you need to see the nurse? Lanira is soo mean to you." She says her face puffed adorably angry.

I shake my head trying to hide my surprise at them even asking me such questions. After another calming breath this time because of my surprise I turn to answer them. "I am fine, but I thank you for your concern. Miss Grace and Miss Kindness, right?"

They nod before Miss Kidness pipes up. "Call me Anna and that is Jane no need for all that Miss stuff." She grins, her personality taking a 180° turn, and the anger immediately fades.

"Jane and Anna it is then, you have to call me Lukida then, no Miss Black from you." I retort, a teasing grin forming on my lips. My reply makes them chuckle and Keeva and Nakoda seem to release some tension as well. " Jane, Anna you will have to tell me some things about yourself, I am quite curious about what you are aspiring to do after you finish school," I tell them insitingly.

"Can we join in?" Asks the melodic voice of Lorelai Siren Mirror she has a boy in tow that seems a bit shy and gloomy. Yet his dark brown eyes hold a certain kindness. He has rather dark skin and dark-brow hair. Morte Von Gallum is his name. Miss Mirror in turn has light creamy skin Sea blue eyes and long wavy blond hair.

I look at the others, they don't seem to mind so I gesture to the empty seats beside us. "Why not, take a seat. Miss Mirror and Mister Gallum, right?" I ask with a smile, they nod.

"Please my name is Lorelai and that is Morte." She introduces them a grin on her lips. She seems to me like a relaxed and cheerful person. They sit down beside us and I look at Jane and Anna, waiting for them to answer my prior inquiry.

"I am taking over the dance auditorium of my family once I am out of school" Anna reveals. "I have been learning ballet since I was six. I cannot wait to learn more about the other dance forms and create dances for the stage." Her words are filled with excitement and passion.

Jane adds to her words. "You will do so well Annilein." Her bright smile is infectious. I recognise that they seem to use the German way of increasing the cuteness of a name and then using it as a nickname. "I will probably apply for an apprenticeship under the Blue Knight Order. I wish to learn how to heal and help people." Her eyes become a bit dreamy.

"Really I would be happy to introduce you." Keeva offers. There seems to be a certain fondness when talking to Jane, but she protests immediately blushing slightly.

"No, no. No need I wouldn't want to use you for something like that." Jane looks down her face still red burning with her blush. "Please let me try it by myself Keeva." Her plea is almost only a soft whisper. Keeva nods raising her hands in surrender, but her eyes tell me that that discussion is far from over. Although she will lay it to rest for now.

"Ohh hoo, love is in the air." Lorelai teases them both, they blush avoiding each other's eyes and ours as well. So they do like each other. I try to hide my smirk. Keeva throws a slap to Lorelais's arm in protest.

"Leave it. What about you, mhh? When will you confess to Hunter that you like him? Mhh?" Keeva retorts her cheeks still red. Hunter Shade Shadow the spare heir of the Shadows, my direct Vassals. "Scared that he might reject you?" Keeva then adds.

I am certainly missing some context here. So I lean over to Nakoda asking. "Okay bring me up to date. I am missing a lot of tea it seems." He grins before surprisingly in-depth telling me about a few relationship-wise things that are must know in this class.

"So sharpen your ears, my dear Lukida." He starts with a dramatic whisper before pointing at a girl and a boy in the last row close to the upper door. " The girl is Eurydice Amaya Rain she is the fiancé of the boy next to her Orpheus Tarek Star. From what I know they are happily together. Now the tea. You see that girl on the other side of Orpheus?" He asks and I nod trying to store all the information I am being provided.

"That girl is Calliope Wren Siren and she has a crush on Orpheus. Now we have the twins over there. Medea Saja Lotus has a crush on our little Songbird Calliope. Tragic really." He states again I am trying to remember everything but I doubt I will be able to. I wasn't expecting such a detailed relationship analysis.

"Then there is her brother Maddox Ethan Lotus, he is in a relationship with Elio Kenneth Sun." He says pointing out a red-haired muscled boy to me. I nod then he turns to our little group. Before revealing what I wanted to know.

"So and lastly our dearest Lorelai and Keeva. Lorelai has a big crush on Hunter but has hesitated for the last three years to confess her feelings to him. Keeva on the other hand dared to confess her feelings to the lovely Miss Kindness and has been together with Jane shortly after." He finishes with a shit-eating grin.

I whisper back. "Now, now why leave yourself out? Now which boy has caught your heart?" I ask with a grin. He seems surprised that I noticed that he is gay, which is just one more reason to widen my grin.

A blush forms on his cheeks before whispering. " Sirius" I grin. Sirius Castor Astras is the nephew of the King an objectively attractive person. A slender but strong build, high cheekbones long silver hair and deep blue eyes.

"Good choice" I hum. Then I pat him on the shoulder. "You are a good guy don't be too shy in trying your luck," I advise him before focusing back on the back and forth between Keeva and Lorelai. "Now now, no need to get into a fight about that. Everyone has their way of dealing with their love interests." I interfere after a few minutes of a repetitive debate.

"Now Morte, what do you wish to do after you finish school?" I ask the shy boy who has been quietly listening to the conversation so far. He seems to hesitate a bit before answering my question.

"I don't know yet but I think I would like to start writing a book about the history between Corax and the Empire and how they split from one another." His voice is almost as quiet as a whisper, his fingers are playing with the hem of his hemd.

"Wow, that seems like a very interesting thing to do. Do you want to structure it more like a historical fiction or like an analytical history book?" I ask him excitedly, but my excitement seems to scare him instead, I notice and try to tune down my tone. "Apologies, seems like I was a bit too loud. I love books, so you made me very curious and excited." I try to mend the situation.

"N-No need I am just a bit uhm of a scaredy cat. I think I would try myself on writing historical fiction." He replies quietly his eyes looking at his feet, his ears slightly reddening.

"That is a wonderful idea, I would be happy to read your book one day," I assure him hoping that one day I would see the ideas he brought to life.

Lorelai interrupts changing the topic. "Another one was killed yesterday. I heard it happened in Chemistry lab 7" She starts with a far more morbid topic.

"My apologies Lorelai but I really would rather talk about something else than the tragic fate of one of our fellow students." She nods backtracking on the topic. "I do have a question though. Is Lanira always this fixated on people?"

They shrug Lorelai is the one to answer first. "Normally she isn't that focused on someone. She has always been a rude Queen Bee hoping to stay in the centre of attention, but in your case, she is strangely hyper-fixated on you. I would have guessed it was because of President White, wait Vice President White now. That wouldn't explain why she started a fight with you yesterday though." Again Lorelai shrugs unsure as to why Lanira has been acting the way she has. I look at the others who agree with Lorelai.

"It seems I will have to wait until she gives me the reason, then" I sigh annoyed at her behaviour without any reason, at least as far as I can understand her reasoning. "Maybe the meeting of the Student Council will give me a bit more insight into her motives."

"It might." Keeva, Nakoda and Anna agree. Jane, Lorelai and Morte don't seem that optimistic. It is a small glimmer of hope in understanding what has been going on here. I hope just for my own mental peace that there will be something to learn about in that meeting.
