"Hello sir, Linda is missing,"he answered and hung up the phone.
"Hello, Hello, Hello,"Philip said, but no response.
The phone dropped from his hand,he opened his mouth to talk again, but popcorn fell out of his mouth.
Philip was shaken beyond imagination,as he heard what the driver said about Linda.
He stared at the phone in his hand, the hands trembling.
He had been expecting Linda to call him back, but instead, he was met with bad news.
"Oh,my goodness, what is the meaning of this news,"he murmured to himself.
He tried calling the driver again but proved abortive.
His Mom rushed into the sitting room from the kitchen, holding a spatula,as he heard his son's shouted.
"What's happening, Philip?" she asked, scanning Philip's eyes.
Philip kept mute, walking towards the door, his both eyes fixed on the garage outside.
He opened the door widely, ran outside, forgetting his car keys.
Philip's mom came behind him, calling him to wait.
"Tell me, what is going on here?"
