After setting up the training partners for each individual Aphrodite told each person to go their separate ways.
Marco's destination being Sparti Greece, he was to meet Thanatos in a restaurant the next day.
Ema and Diya's destination are Japan, Diya needed to make her way to Okinawa's kabira bay.
Ema's destination was Aizuwakamatsu's Tsurage castle, the duo headed there with Aphrodite.
According to the goddess, "I trust Benizaten, she is a simple woman but I don't trust Takemikazuchi." When the trio heard this comment Marco initiated "Why is that so?"
The reply he got made him worried. "I mean do you trust a guy that is extremely pent up looking for decent fight?"
This was an extremely misleading comment, as Aphrodite was worried about how Takemikazuchi would fight.
But what Marco heard was completely different, to him it sounded like Ema was being sent to become his 'toy'.
Though he was not entirely wrong but that Ema would be facing certain peril training with Takemikazuchi.
Marco's eyes darken glaring at Aphrodite, his next action sent shivers down Aphrodite's spine.
In a deep demonic voice his power leaked destroying the portion of the mansion they were in. "Explain Aphrodite, WHAT EXACTLY DID YOU SIGN MY WIFE UP FOR?"
Marco was extremely protective now, who wouldn't be after hearing Aphrodite's terrible and misleading description.
Seeing Marco's attitude made Ema's heart flutter. She was glad that her darling was concerned about her, even going to the extent of 'threatening' Aphrodite.
Aphrodite was confused why Marco was so irritated but after a brief reflection of what she said she face palmed.
"Shit" She cursed and immediately raised her hands up in a surrendering pose. "I miss spoke, please calm down and let me clarify, ok…?"
All she got was Marco's increasing cold glare, he would not let his wife go to his doom.
He instinctively wanted to protect Ema but he knew he was too weak, the recent fight with Lucifer proved that. As he was wrestling with himself internally Aphrodite continued.
"Takemikazuchi is not well know to hold back during training sessions. In the past he had taken up many students but few could survive his next to hellish training.
The cases where his students improved was almost guaranteed but there was always a high chance that they would have their mentality broken."
Aphrodite continued to describe Takemikazuchi's training trying to clear the misunderstanding she created. As she described only a worried expression grew on Marco's face.
He turned to look at Ema as if asking if she was fine experience that training.
But when he saw her face he felt stunned, on Ema's face only determination could be seen. She wanted such training, it was nice that Marco cared so much for her but it hurt her pride to be so weak.
It was humiliating for her to be saved by Marco without being able to fight back herself. Yes the enemy was simply in a different league but that was no excuse to Ema.
She wanted to grow stronger no matter the cost.
She wanted to be able to protect her love instead of him stepping in risking his life for her sake.
Her determination to protect Marco was clearly felt, it was surreal how determined she was. Usually she was extremely carefree similar to a cat.
Only seeking Marco's affection whenever she had the chance. It was to the point that Diya had to separate the two to slot herself in.
But now this carefree version of her disappeared replaced by a warrior that is hell bent on becoming stronger no matter the cost.
