The blue skinned man sat on his throne thinking about his next steps. He was contemplating until he remembered that Marco was going to train with Thanatos.
He knew that Thanatos owed him a favour in the past so now he decides to claim it.
"Come" His voice echoed throughout his palace. Not even a second passed until six servants appeared and knelt before him.
"What is your order my lord" the six immediately spoke. Like a picture of perfect servants they remained still until their lord's orders were spoken.
"I will head to the Greek underworld for a while. I want you all to take care of the things in my palace. If Indra asks, tell him I'm settling some business personally."
Shiva knew that Indra would definitely look for him.
They were good drinking buddies after all. They tend to relax in a garden sipping tea. Typically the two would play Chaturanga, an ancient version of chess or simply talk about their day.
The two were always working and relaxing together. As god king Indra had many tasks he would split with Shiva.
The duo tend to tackle many issues together resulting in their pantheon being one of the most united and subsequently among the strongest.
Though Indra was the god king Shiva was stronger. He is the strongest male god amongst the current pantheons.
Thus far the only being that triumphs him in power is Kali, his pantheon goddess of destruction.
Her level of power was simply frightening in comparison he felt like his power was insignificant in comparison to her.
In the past around à thousands years ago Shiva asked for a friendly duel with Kali. The goddess accepted but the results shocked his entire pantheon.
In the duel as Kali released her power everything was simply destroyed.
That showcase of power was simply frightening, the amount of power produced in that simple demonstration from Kali made the fight into a life or death ordeal for Shiva.
Shiva was confident that he was strong but standing against Kali made only one thought enter his mind "What have i done."
Although he saw that he was outclassed in terms of divinity he still tried to fight. He wanted to glimpse into the chasm that differentiated them.
The result was he defeat, Shiva was extremely strong but having someone that could match him physically and outclassed him in sheer power.
The results were clear from the start, knowing this now Shiva was exploring around, visiting other pantheons to learn and potentially improve his power.
The moment he heard the system talking to Marco he sent out his subordinated to locate the mysterious being.
To his surprise that search yielded him more that he bargain for. First that being where he later learnt was called Marco showed power on terms or already slightly greater than himself.
Though it was clear that his mastery was amateurish at best he was shocked with the report saying that Gaia was made to submit to him.
GAIA the most vengeful PRIMORDIAL GOD he knew was made to SUBMIT.
He had the feat of beating Loki senseless, the man casually sent the annoying tricker god onto the moon with a kick and messed with him the whole while.
He had the feat of making the arrogant Loki retreat. After he did that not even a week passed until he fought Lucifer Morningstar.
This monster that came out of nowhere was tackling treats that would make high level gods flee in terror with his head held high. To Shiva's subordinates credit all this information was leaked due to Aphrodite.
After the woman made several calls boasting that her friend's husband beat Loki and is now looking for a training partner the whole supernatural world was now abuzz.
Everyone now began to investigate who exactly was Aphrodite's mysterious friend. All anyone knew was that Lucifer was in hell spreading the news that there is a being that can fight him that is the husband of the general of fog.
This started a whole separate issue but is a story for another day.
