Wang Feng and Yang Kai were sitting in the restaurant and we're looking out of the window after their conversation was over. The two observed the bustling road outside, full of mortal, ordinary people going about their lives.
Suddenly, Yang Kai spoke, "hey, Brother Feng. If I need your help in the future for something, will you support me?", Wang Feng was taken aback by Yang Kai's sudden serious look and said.
"Hmm, that depends on how you want me to be killed~", Wang Feng light and teasing tone eased some of Yang Kai's seriousness before he sighed, "what if, I want to fight against a group of people in a war of some kind."
Wang Feng's mind rushed, 'is he talking about the inheritance war?', but he looked into Yang Kai's eyes, "unless you want me fight against the other people dear to me, I'll fucking burn them to ashes", he said with a smirk, his body radiating battle hungry aura.
Yang Kai smiled and chuckled, "don't worry, they won't be...".
After that, the two remained silent and left the restaurant, both separating halfway towards the sect.

Wang Feng walked towards the Treasurer Hall with delebrate steps, though his mind was thinking about his objective, again.
'I already have the Five Element True Body which has the Five Element Qi. The Unyielding Golden Skeleton that has Yin Qi....', he thought to himself.
'the Unyielding Golden Skeleton should be able to absorb and hold the Yin Qi from the Nine Yin Foundation Dew like it did in the original timeline. All that's left is for me to collect it, which would need Pure Yang Qi.'
He reached the door of the Treasurer Hall and pushed open the door, 'it's time to move to the 2nd Stage....', he walked inside and looked at Meng Wu Ya, laying leasurely on his swaying chair with his eyes closed. "I have a deal for you old man."
Meng Wu Ya stopped his swaying chair and opened his eyes, looking at Wang Feng, "*haah* brat, just say it. What do you want...", Meng Wu Ya said as he looked at Wang Feng and felt his aura, 'this brat... When did he reach this stage?'
Wang Feng looked at him with surprise before he shrugged and walked in front of his desk and placed his hands on it, leaning slightly over it, pushing his weight on his hands. He looked at him, "alright then, I need your help with a task."
Meng Wu Ya narrowed his eyes and leaned forward a bit, "I'm listening..."

Wang Feng was currently standing between a clear piece of land, without any spec of grass. He had a sword in his hand and was engraving symbols with it on the ground.
The surrounding ground with the radius of about 25 meters was covered with various symbols, runes along with smaller and larger circles, all within a wide and large circle.
The array was carved deep into the dry, hardened earth, its lines sharp and clean, like the trace of a precise, deliberate blade. Circles layered within one another formed the core of the design, each ring filled with strange symbols and patterns that didn't quite make sense at first glance.
Triangular shapes intersected the curves, and jagged lines branched out like cracks in old stone. Standing near it, the air felt heavy, and if even the air could feel the ... exclusiveness of the array.
Wang Feng sighed while breathing heavily. He walked to the side, where Meng Wu Ya was standing and looking at the array with wide, excited and awed eyes. He could feel the oppressiveness of the array, he could feel an aura on the array that felt somehow out of place with the surroundings.
He looked at Wang Feng with awe and reluctance, "*ugh* you oversmart brat... If you hadn't made me take that oath, I would have bombarded you with thousands of questions. *Sigh*"
Wang Feng smiled as he sat down. For what he was about to do, he needed someone strong who could protect him and avoid the effects of it from leaking. The only person he knew currently was only Meng Wu Ya. So he naturally went to him.
But, of course he wouldn't just let him be a part of his plan, that involved his life, without any restrains, otherwise he would have to do too much explaining and might even have to give away a few stuff. So he made Meng Wu Ya take a Heavenly Dao Oath, after a whole day of convincing.
The old man was stubborn but eventually relented. The oath he took stated that he couldn't tell anyone what happened here, he couldn't ask him anything about the things he has or the any other thing related to the array, plus he will not even try to touch a thing that belongs to him during the process or ask of them after it.
It is to say that the old man was mortified upon hearing the oath details, but eventually, he took the oath and followed Wang Feng here. He had waited here for 3 whole days that had taken Wang Feng to engrave the massive array on the ground.
Wang Feng mediated to reach back to his prime state. Meng Wu Ya looked at him before shaking his head and sat down as well, using his divine strength to observe the Array, trying to find out it's secrets somehow.
Unfortunately for him, the exclusiveness of this array extended beyond his scope. This array wasn't something he could learn or copy with just memorizing the pattern of the array. Not only him, but Wang Feng himself didn't have the qualifications to even engrave this array, the only reason he was able to do so was because of the reward he gained from reaching Earth Grade Array Master Rank.

After he had gained the reward, he had turned to his Array Inheritance and discovered that the seals on it were somewhat loose, even though they still hid the contents from him. So he focused on it to separate an array for artificially creating a physique which he can use.
After he found this array, he willed the reward to clear the seals from it temporarily, making it available to him in a way he could inscribe it on his level.
After looking at the array's description at that time, Wang Feng had sweat dropped heavily, even doubting if he should follow through. But he later steeled his resolve and started preparing to use it.
He shook his head, dispelling any unnecessary thought. He turned his head and saw Meng Wu Ya looking at him. Wang Feng groaned as he stood up and said to him, "I want to observe the array from above..."
Meng Wu Ya simply waved his hand, causing the air to shift and Wang Feng to be risen into the air. "Woah...", Wang Feng muttered in surprise at suddenly being risen from the ground.
Wang Feng exhaled a breath as he looked at the Array from high ground, allowing him to properly analyze it. He observed each and every detail of the array multiple times, making sure there was not even a spec of error in the array, he didn't want to turn into cosmic dust nor fireworks.
After triple checking the already checked array he told Meng Wu Ya to let him down. The next moment, his body started to decent and he stepped on the ground, standing next to Meng Wu Ya.
Meng Wu Ya looked at him and asked, "what next, little Feng", Wang Feng looked at him for a moment before looking back at the array. He walked forward and reached an 'empty' place among the various runes and circles of the array.
He stood next to the point and looked at Meng Wu Ya, "Now.... the materials.", he spoke as he willed a heap of Enflamed Yang Stones to appear from his inventory, on the empty spot.
Meng Wu Ya went wide eyes as he saw a heap of Enflamed Yang Stones suddenly materialize next to Wang Feng, "Wha...How did yo...", just as Meng Wu Ya was about to speak/shout, Wang Feng spoke, "remember the oath, Old Meng."
Hearing that, Meng Wu Ya's mouth twitched as he spontaneous silenced himself, looking with rapt attention, feeling ludicrous as Wang Feng placed one heap of Enflamed Yang Stones after another on the outer empty places of the array.
Wang Feng looked at him in amusement and thought if he should tell the old man some lie to appease the growing intensity of his gaze, but eventually shrugged and decided to ignore him.
After placing the Enflamed Yang Stones on various spots, covering all the outer section of the array, he walked across the inner section of the array, placing the Scorching Yang Crystals on those places. The closer he moved to the center of the array, the more purer crystals appeared on the array.
By now, Meng Wu Ya had gone numb by how Wang Feng seems to be materializing matters of Pure Yang Attribute from thin air. He counted the materials and estimated that he had placed at least quarter of a ton of Enflamed Yang Stones, each of at least Mid-Earth Grade and at least 100 kgs of Scorching Yang Crystals, each reaching at least Heaven-Grade, on the array.
{A-Note: in the previous chapter, he had gotten the materials from the treasure cave. I had written that there were huge chucks of materials there, but hadn't specified just how 'huge'. So for clarifications, he had gotten more than a few tons of materials form there, aka, a whole mine.}
Wang Feng stood at the center of the array before looking around him, seeing an array of stones and crystals excluding a potent Yang Aura that seems to have materialized around the area.
*Hueee~*, Wang Feng breathed out and looked at the absolute center of the array where the last empty place of the array was located and willed his inventory to take out the Pure Yang Jade.
A Golden-Green Jade of nearly 3 meters of length, 1 meter of width and 2.5 meters of height appeared in the place. The temperature around it instantly started rising. The aura of the surrounding materials resonated with the aura of the Jade, sending out a pulse of pure Yang energy, the many auras melded and combined in a pulsing beacon of Yang Energy.
Wang Feng looked at Meng Wu Ya and shouted, "Now!", Meng Wu Ya, who's face was full of shock upon seeing the Pure Yang Jade of Peak-Heaven Grade, shook his head and reacted instantly with a serious look after feeling the highly concentrated auras of the materials, "F*ck! Now I understand why the brat needed me!"
He bursted out with a surge of Qi that shrouded the pulsing aura of the Yang Energy. That wasn't all as the Qi separated into two colonms and the other went into another array built around this area. Once the other array activated, the auras of both Meng Wu Ya and the Yang Energy disappeared.
Wang Feng saw that Meng Wu Ya had successfully controlled the situation and jumped on the Jade, sitting on it with a dead serious face. He breathed out, a slightly fearful breath, before he took sent his Qi into the Source Integration Array, kick starting it.
Once his Qi touched the array, he grunted and his face went pale as his Qi went wild and rushed out of his body uncontrollably. He felt that he had lost complete control over his Qi as it was drained of him in a matter of seconds.
At the same time, the array and the materials started to glow. The materials also went through the same state as Wang Feng and the energy in them was sucked dry at a frightening pace.
The materials rapidly lost their luster and aura before they started to crumble into ashes. Their energy seeping into the array, making it glow with golden light.
But.... This was just the start.
