Fu Yisi's generosity was something Ji Sang couldn't quite grasp, but one thing was certain: when this man made a promise, he would keep it.
And so, the next day, he personally took her to the Fu family's ancestral home before heading off to work.
Ye Lin came out to greet them in person.
This was the first time Ji Sang was planning to stay for an extended period at the Fu family's old mansion since marrying into the family.
"Mom, make sure she eats well for me."
Ye Lin rolled her eyes slightly.
"I know, I've been looking forward to Ah Shang coming over."
Saying so, Ye Lin affectionately patted Ji Sang's hand.
"Ah Shang, I've been so bored at home by myself; knowing you would be coming to stay for a while, I was so excited last night I couldn't sleep. Don't worry, as your mother-in-law, I'll definitely take you out to have some fun."
