Ivy River quickly finished reviewing the patient in her hand and stood up.
Evelyn King immediately blocked her, "Doctor River, I don't need your help, you should know that very well."
"It's seven o'clock in the evening now, and you still have 8 patients to see. Our normal off-duty time is six."
"So what?"
Ivy River smirked with a hint of sarcasm, "If I don't help you, you might be working overtime until midnight. You can afford to wait, but the patients can't."
Evelyn King refused to be grateful, "You helped me see patients without my permission, and how do you know my speed is that slow?"
"Evelyn, sometimes cowards look just like you. I helped you because Lewis Chadwick begged me. If you have a problem, go find him."
After saying this, Ivy River shrugged her off and headed to the office.
The black-suited bodyguard saw this and pushed the old man to follow her.
