"After an investigation by the Discipline Committee, Student Council, and Office of Student Affairs, it has been determined that on March 19th, Aria Spencer, a first-year C class student at Yuanyue Academy, assaulted a fellow student in violation of the school's motto and the behavioral standards of Lin Gate High School students.
"Now, with the approval of the Disciplinary Department, the Office of Student Affairs, and upon review by the school board, the following punishments are meted out to Aria Spencer.
"1. Offer a written apology to Hua Zhaofeng, the student who was assaulted, and make financial compensation.
"2. Suspend any eligibility for Aria Spencer to apply for scholarships, grants, and other forms of financial aid for the next three years.
"3. Begin a one-week suspension effective immediately."
