Mountain Eagle probably realized something had happened, but he wasn't quite clear about the specifics...
He looked at the anxious Tessa and asked, "Is the situation very serious?"
Without thinking, Tessa waved her hand and said, "The local gang has been looking for someone with an injured right leg, this guy admitted he's the one, and then asked the gang to help find his daughter.
He wanted to exchange his life for his daughter's, but now we've caught him..."
After listening, Mountain Eagle had a good idea of what had happened...
The blue-clothed man was a retired soldier from the 191 Special Forces, his daughter had gone missing, so he had been searching for her, then because of an injury to his right leg got into a conflict with the gang and became a target.
Slowly he realized that it was unrealistic to find his daughter on his own, so he simply 'exposed his identity' in hopes of using a reward to stimulate the gang's initiative to help locate his daughter.
