Markiplier's blaster pistol hissed with steam as the capacitors cycled through coolant at an accelerated pace. Bolts of concentrated plasma flared out dangerously, melting into several crates on the other end of the cramped street. Similar blaster fire responded in kind to his attacks, the spiked head of a Corellian Gang member ducking behind the crates again.
"Emma, you got a grenade spare?" The beautiful streamer he was asking this question to snapped the neck of a minor force sensitive gang enforcer as behind her Peter deflected blaster bolts.
"Yeah, for sure!" Going to her belt she pulled out a basic military supply grenade and lobbed it over the centre of the battlefield. Snow flickered her blade on and off within the gut of an enemy before launching her hand out at a nearby thug, lightning trembling within her hands in but an instant, the electric power display careening through the choked and claustrophobic atmosphere of Nar Shaddar.
"AHHHHHHHHHH-" The thug screamed out in pain before being launched into a nearby pillar section as the dull explosion of a grenade sent the crates, that the thugs had been using as cover, flying through the air. Body parts followed the shrapnel of what was once cover, blood of blues and reds painting the entire street near the area in viscera.
Looking over his own set of cover Mark whistled appreciatively before jumping over the barricade he had hidden behind, looking around for the entrance way into the 'Maw', the underground hideout of the Eviscerator. He was a rather ruthless Corellian crime boss who had been messing where he shouldn't have... "Peter, go with Snow and scout the entry way. Emma and Ned, you two call in some NPC backup to secure the street."
The Hyperlane Hustlers all stalked off to commit to their roles as Mark called up his local contact and asked for a temporary block on all traffic into the area. Knowing the policing force commander was certainly helpful...
"Mark! We have one hundred guards rushing over now. Not the best NPCs ever, but they will do in a pinch." Rubbing the back of his Twi'lek's neck he watched Peter and Snow turn their lightsabers on and start cutting a hole into the large gateway that stood in their way.
"Great, that'll work well. Now we just need some, hmmmm-rmmmm..." A message had interrupted his little speech as he looked at his data pad and watched a video of Jacksepticeye pod racing on Tattooine.
Laughter echoed through the street as Emma was doubling over and trying her best not to fall on her face. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! What the fuck was that noise Mark!?" Ned was tearing up from the supposed hilarity of the situation, his chat no doubt laughing at his expense as well... He knew his was...
Shaking his head in denial Mark simply threw himself at his work, the gateway close to being breached as silence claimed the one active and thriving gang zone. Nar Shaddar was creepy, sleazy and uncomfortable at the best of times... Between the ever stifling hab-blocks and varying levels of garbage, both human and otherwise, this place was not conducive to a good mental health. It only got worse in the silence however. The rhythmic thrum of energy silos and varying other machines that usually were smothered under the boots and din of people echoed starkly now.
Each step clanged out, the floor itself a mix of dust, dirt and thickly welded metallic sheets. Buildings around this area seemed to creak as temperature pockets expanded metal and retracted it in the same breath. This place felt like a futuristic wild west, it was really awesome, but also dystopian.
*Ziiing*
"Hey Ned, Crimson is saying you need to start your stream soon..."
Ned frowned before sighing and tapping the streaming icon on his Hud, the number 1 streamer of SWTOR activating his stream. Unfortunately this meant that Mark's own stream lost some people, but that was fine... Especially since Crimson had just donated around 5000 dollars.
'What the fuck...?'
Many emojis passed by in the chat as people simply shrugged Zoom's question off. Mark cackled at the Auto Mod before releasing that the gateway was cut through and Peter had already stepped through with Snow.
Now that was a hell of a team-up... A sith and a Jedi working together in the same guild. Many people had tried to implement such a partnership, but it usually ended abruptly due to the amount of people that love to LARP as Sith or 'True Jedi'. As it was the culture of Jedi and Sith was beginning to rise in America, specifically in New York where a full blown temple had apparently been starting construction.
"Ned, Emma, let's go after Peter and Snow." His two friends followed him as he rushed over to the gate, the hundred guards conveniently arriving now in drop ships.
The trio gave zero fucks however and simply moved on down the long walkway past the freshly sliced open gate.
Meanwhile Peter and Snow...
*zvvvvvvvvv*
A blue lightsaber cut through the barrel of a blaster as a red one turned on and off within the stomach of an unsuspecting gang member. The bodies almost answered gravity's call but were stopped suddenly by both force users, Peter and Snow dragging the bodies down softly to the ground.
Peter's struggled a little until he knocked him out using the crook of his arm. They were currently in a large hallway, cable and cords dangling from the ceiling as water sploshed under their footsteps. The smell of smoke, soot and ash was heavy down here, mostly thanks to the addiction of some gang members when it came to psychedelics. Distant hums of machines mixed with all the other horrible sensations into an amalgam of horrid sensations.
"You know, Peter-san, I wish we hadn't come down here..."
"Yeah I feel the same way really. I guess we'll just have to complain later though, seeing as how these tunnels are filled with thugs."
"Thanks Turtle..."
"What'd he say Peter-san?"
"Said we shouldn't be in the middle of the tunnel, too easy to spot apparently."
Snow ran a hand through her rather gorgeous multi-coloured hair as she stepped onto the side, walking towards the right hand side of this T-junction. Peter followed of course, making sure that his eyes weren't focussed on Snow's ass, though, if he could see it out of the corners of his eyes, that wouldn't be too bad... he thought.
Ever since yesterday when he was introduced to Cindy Moon he had been more conscious of the women around him. Emma was really hot, but she was more like an older sister to Peter. Snow was, for a lack of a better word, Smoking Hot... She had a style that was almost as attractive as Cindy Moon's, a personality that was just all kinds of cute and desirable... And, she was super innocent when it came to the opposite gender.
Her lightsaber arced up and sliced a thug in half, his body plopping into the watery sludge below as Peter shook himself from his contemplations. They had walked for several minutes as he had lost himself in the sauce... He cursed his own hormones for the distraction they provided.
"Peter-san I think there is something important up ahead. It feels like, i don't know, a server room or something???" She seemed rather uncomfortable and stumped with the messages from the Force. It had taken him a while to train them up and even then the passive abilities of his class did more of the heavy lifting than his actual knowledge did.
"We'll creep ahead then. Let's try not to let them know we are here."
She nodded and the both of them stealthed forwards.
Shadow met with light, the outline of several figures playing across the far wall of the tunnel system, the path leading to a single right turn. A slurry of voices reverberated through the stagnant air as the sound of electronic shifting and beeping of computer terminals scraped across their ears. Whatever was ahead, it seemed somewhat important.
Peter tapped Snow on the arm as he crouch-printed up to the corner, his head peeking out just enough to look at the assembled men in the tunnel ahead.
Ten figures stood in front of a terminal, an eleventh sitting at said station whilst tapping several screens. Each of them looked like force sensitive thugs. All of them had the vibro-blades and several blasters across them. Their gear was fairly standard except for the man at the terminal who was dressed more like an engineer or something of the like. Simple browns and silvers made their garbs and made an easy contrast to their weapons which were almost Onyx black.
Waving her forwards, Peter turned back to the room ahead. It was a circular chamber with data-storage units in the back. The walls were lined with brick instead of cables here, but that wasn't important... What was important was the feed of cables that fed down into the interface from the tunnels they had just passed through.
'Take those out then we can stop whatever they are doing... Perhaps we can find exactly where the boss is?'
"Snow, we need to take out those cables, or simply deal with them all." He whispered to her.
The woman looked out in his place, her eyes sparkling whilst her right hand twitched every so slightly in anticipation.
"Let's just take em out. We can save that computer guy, then he can tell us what they've been up to." Peter nodded as he flickered his lightsaber on, the noise being drowned out as one of the men spat a large globule of gunk out onto the already dirty floor.
*BOOM*
The plan started with the explosion behind them. They knew their friends would soon be coming in, thus they just initiated combat.
...
In Freya's Office, Canberra...
"So you're telling me that Hogwarts is real... The wizarding world is real... And that we have to keep the secrecy of magic kind?"
"Yes."
"Then I want assurances that you will aid me should any wizards attempt to subvert my government."
The man thought quickly before answering.
"Already would have been a part of the deal, but we can safely say that is guaranteed. Though, we would need you to possibly meet with an official of the ICW or a former member."
My eyes narrowed.
"Perhaps a former speaker or something?"
"Hmmm... Dumbledore could speak with you..."
He tapped his chin for a minute until he spoke once again, the two of us being the only people in the room.
"Are you willing to take a trip to Hogwarts?"
"Sure, I can make a state visit to the UK while I am at it."
The man smiled widely.
"Make sure to greet the queen cordially, she likes the colonies and the wizarding world in general."
I nodded, trepidation and excitement stirring within me... I was going to Hogwarts. This had been a dream since I was a little girl!
"Will do, now, anything else to speak about?"
"What do you know of the Boy-who-lived?"
'Oh boy...'
