Standing on the bridge of a recently apprehended vessel, Spiff sipped down some Twi'lek tea as droids and various staff moved around below him. Slurping at the brew he sighed in content whilst he monitored the trade ships exiting and entering the orbit of the world he and his friends had established.
The update earlier today had been surprising. He had found that his rank in the fleet unlocked several bonuses for him as he was capable of personalising the fleet. Naturally, he had taken advantage of this feature and re-named every ship officially after brands of tea. Besides that small detail, the ships could now be personally refitted for certain load outs and this, he felt, would effect space combat massively.
Talking to Peter, who had popped in just to check in on things, it was the same for personal combat as the new design features for lightsabers and kyber crystals allowed for focus on certain stats or pathways for the force. As the meta was now, he was looking into hiring some Jedi for missions on his ship, in case a Sith were to come into conflict with their defence force.
"Sir! We have a Sith Vessel requesting a parley!" One of the officers on the lower deck shouted up at him, the Mon Calamari man flaring out his lips as his dark black, saucer-like, eyes glanced between him and the crewman sitting down next to him.
"Well... Let's agree to their request. Show them a spiffing good time and, hopefully, survive this." The officer turned away and sent away the message, the last of the tea in his cup slipping down his throat as he wistfully watched the ship about-turn and face the incoming ship. It was small, the size of a transport, but looks could be deceptive sometimes... And this was a sith he was meeting with.
'Let's see how this goes, shall we?'
...
The transport landed in the docking bay of the carrier as hundreds of hired soldiers aimed blasters at the ship, Spiff standing at the forefront with two blaster pistols adorning his hips, the same design as the smuggler from the video clips at the release of the game.
*HSSSSS*
Atmospheric adjustments hissed from the back of the vessel, darkness slowly alighting in bright blue as the partitioning shields of the fighter bay illuminated all. Hands and fingers tightened around the stocks of their weapons as their fingers dallied closer towards the triggers.
The ramp fully lowered onto the hard Plasteel deck as the gloom inside was then breached by a singular figure, dressed in completely black robes. This Sith was non-descript, looking like any other dark-aligned force user out there. The only unique aspect he noted as they approached was the dark-gold and filigreed lightsaber exterior.
Coughing into his hand he stepped forwards and began speaking. "Greetings Sith. I am the admiral of this fleet, Spiff, what business do you have here and what did you wish to parley on?" He felt stiff and his words felt horrible to his own ears, but he couldn't rescind them now.
"Spiff? Wow! Huge fan!" The sith pulled back their hood and revealed themselves to be a female Chiss with beautiful black hair, bright red eyes and a refined set of feminine jewellery, emeralds if he wasn't mistaken.
The soldiers gawked and looked at their admiral with open jaws and a question openly expressed upon their faces. Several officers blinked rapidly as Spiff himself chuckled and rubbed the back of his head.
"I am guessing that you are a fellow tea-lover?" She nodded emphatically and walked forwards with excitement. His soldiers rose their weapons but she ignored that and made no sign of pulling for her lightsaber.
Running up to him she stared at his face and looked all around him as he chuckled awkwardly. "You look cooler in person! Are those the same blasters that the smuggler in the very first animatic used!? Your streams really didn't lie about your position! I have so many questions!!!"
She rushed around and lifted his arms whilst gushing over his appearance and the ship itself, the soldiers dropping their aim and staring blankly at the entire display.
"C-could you perhaps tell me why you wished to speak with me?" Her eyes widened as she was leaning close to the side of his belt, inspecting his blasters. "Shit! Sorry bout that... I get carried away sometimes..." She smiled brightly and somewhat embarrassedly as she righted herself and her posture.
"I was coming to seek refuge from the Sith Empire!" She chirped it out without even a question, her eyes flashing bright blue for a second as every soldier turned to look at one another, the officers exchanging coin on bets that they were making.
"I see... Perhaps it is an exploit? Intriguing. What would you do if I say yes?" She grinned coyly now, her eyes looking him up and down... It was obvious to everyone with a sense of EQ what she was thinking of doing.
"Probably work for you all? Not much else to offer, besides my powers and my lightsaber." He gulped a tiny bit as she looked at him like a piece of meat for her to eat. Whether she was actually a he, was still unknown, but the mere attraction 'they' showed was flattering in a way.
"Hmmm, I'd say yes, but let's see how my companions think on the matter!" Some officers cursed as other laughed triumphantly, credits being passed around as the soldiers just stood there despondently, amazed that this had turned out this way.
"Sure! You know, you are less mysterious in meeting you..."
"Haha, well, I am simply a tea-obsessed Brit."
She smiled widely as soldiers walked up beside her, 'escorting' her beside Spiff.
"I am a tea obsessed American! I hate that they dumped all of that tea..."
"Usually I would curse you for being part of that fiasco, as an American, but since you seem to have some culture I'll excuse it." She giggled as their entire group wound through the ships many levels and ended up on the bridge.
Most of the talk was innocuous, harmless in many ways, but when asked about why she left the Sith Empire it was a simple answer that left all of them blinking. "I was bored!" That was her answer to his question... A simple but mesmerising answer that left all of the 'NPCs' despondent. If only all Sith were like this the war would have been over by now...
...
Reaching the bridge Spiff pulled her into the lime-light of the holotransmitter, a call ushering out from the carrier and reaching down onto the planet and the far reaches of space to his off-world companions.
A minute passed like this until a few answers came back, Emma standing there dressed in dusty clothes as blaster fire sundered in the background. She was on Tattooine and was currently trying to secure a foothold for Pax Aranea in Hutt space.
"This better be fucking important!" She raised a blaster and fired several shots off as a male human flew past her, dead.
Another hologram appeared, this being Mark. He was currently sitting at a bar in Nar Shaddar, his background vaguely conveyed through the murmuring and laughter of patrons. "Hey Spiff, you called?"
"Oh, hi Mark." Mark, Emma and the Sith all stopped and looked at him before they broke into their own versions of laughter.
"What do you need space-boy?" Emma spoke up frostily as she slowly choked out a combatant, dropping them a few seconds later, unconscious.
"Well, I have a player from the Sith side... They are defecting and wishing to join my fleet. I was wondering if you all had some opinion on it."
Mark smirked and looked over at the Chiss woman, who had just stepped into the limelight. His head tails stirred lightly as someone pushed him forwards, a hand landing on his shoulder. "Gimme a sec gabe... Um, yeah, do whatever you want. Just know that she's your responsibility." His feed cut out after that...
"Typical Mark." Emma grimaced as a blaster shot stuck onto her armoured shoulder, her blaster rising once again and firing off a few shots.
"Do whatever Spiff, we trust you. Just make sure to check in with Pete before you take her anywhere too special!" She grit her teeth as a speeder bike blasted over the top of her head, sand whipping past in a slurry of action. "I gotta go! Meet you tomorrow for the guild meeting!" Her feed blinked out as Spiff turned to the Chiss woman, his eyes narrowing slightly before he sighed once more.
"Well, there we have it. Welcome to the Spiffing Armada. For now I'll have you get escorted by some soldiers and monitored, but that's just for security measures. Tomorrow I'll have you meet our resident Jedi Master." She smiled toothily as the female Nagai soldiers slid up beside her and tapped her on the shoulders.
"Thanks Spiff! I'll have to prove myself to you all yet, but please know that I mean no harm." She was guided off as he was left without tea or friends near.
'It's hard being the only responsible one...'

Sorry for this being so Short, but I wanted to show his perspective and show what the Hyperlane Hustlers were doing. I want to focus more on the game aspect of the fan fic, since people disliked the dalliance away from it...
I will strive to combine the game aspect to the greater plot, perhaps intertwining them more intrinsically. Anyway, I digress... I hope you enjoyed the chapter and please let me know if you have any more partner suggestions for Freya or even game suggestions.
(Games that are released so far: Fallout, SWTOR, Minecraft) ; Scare game has not been released as the Augma has not entered into the market, it will happen soon!
