Moving is undoubtedly a grueling task. By the time the sun had set, the last of the belongings had finally been moved. The Neighborhood Committee Auntie waved with a smile, "If you need anything, just call Auntie, don't be shy!"
"Machoke!" The Machoke flexed their muscles, striking bodybuilding poses and cheering in unison. Natsume nodded with a grin, "Will do!" The new home was a small villa, fenceless, with a low, narrow wall and a few tender green vines creeping along it.
The red eaves and the snow-white marble balcony, complete with a clothesline, overlooked a small grassy courtyard.
All in all, it bore a striking resemblance to Shin-chan's house. Natsume examined it for a moment before nodding slowly.
Renting this villa in Tokyo for just 10,000 Pokémon Coins a month was definitely a steal!
"This is our new home," Natsume said with a smile.
"Let's tidy up and get dinner ready!"
"Haunter!" Haunter, carrying a box, grinned excitedly. Squirtle wiped its sweat, placed the fish tank on the ground, and then froze when it glanced back.
Wait, weren't we supposed to carry our own luggage? Then why isn't Eevee carrying anything?!
"Eevee?" Eevee shot Squirtle a sidelong glance. You got a problem? Squirtle hesitated for a moment before hurriedly picking up the fish tank and scurrying inside.
Better make myself scarce! As Squirtle looked at the house, a glint of determination flashed in its eyes. Hmm… I've already scanned it with my Aura.
This isn't an illusion! Natsume chuckled, carrying Eevee's hamster wheel, and followed inside.
The hallway led to the kitchen, where an oval-shaped table large enough to seat several Pokémon came into view.
Natsume's expression turned odd. "There's no way… we have that many Pokémon eating here, right?" He turned on the ceiling light, and the warm orange glow filled the room, adding a cozy atmosphere.
Natsume set down the hamster wheel, skillfully tied on an apron, and nodded with determination.
"Haunter! Clean up the room, we'll have dinner soon!"
"Haunter! (?`▽′?)?" Eevee pushed its hamster wheel into the living room, plopped down on the floor, and wagged its tail.
Suddenly, a blush spread across Eevee's face. Have I… really gained weight lately…?
"Eevee! (〃＞皿＜)" Eevee jumped onto the hamster wheel, but soon tossed its worries aside.
The living room echoed with Eevee's cheerful cries, "Eevee! (*≧▽≦)" Natsume shook his head helplessly. "Squirtle, go check out the second floor and set up the fish tank in the bedroom." Even though the room was spacious enough, Natsume had grown accustomed to sleeping alongside his Pokémon.
If only they wouldn't sneak out in the middle of the night… that'd be even better…
"Squirtle!" Squirtle wobbled up the stairs with the fish tank in its arms. Haunter, seeing this, grabbed a broom and floated behind Squirtle.
"Squirtle?" Squirtle looked back, puzzled.
"Haunter!" Haunter grinned mischievously, giving Squirtle a follow me look. I've got something cool to show you!
The two little ones sneaked into the room like thieves. Haunter opened a laptop, and the faint blue light from the screen illuminated their faces.
"Haunter!" Haunter suddenly pulled out a beige USB drive.
"Squirtle?" Squirtle paused, as if suddenly realizing something. The two Pokémon exchanged glances, then simultaneously broke into mischievous grins.

Trainer's been so busy lately… leaving this Technical Machine for me is clearly a sign—yes!
He wants me to train Squirtle!
"Haunter~!" Haunter nodded proudly. No wonder Trainer didn't say it outright—it's so obvious!
I can't tell him yet. I'll surprise him once Squirtle masters it! Squirtle was thinking the same thing.
Only by steadily improving and learning more moves can I better serve my master! I wonder if this training video… is legit.

But it was the first day in the new house, and Natsume smiled. Surely, we can't be that unlucky!
"Come on, let's eat. We're celebrating the move!" Haunter & Squirtle: ψ(｀?′)ψ...
"Cheers~!" The warm orange light bathed the dining table, making even the berries look extra delicious.
Natsume raised his glass, clinking it against Squirtle and Haunter's glasses of Moomoo Milk.
"Haunter! []~(￣▽￣)~*" Eevee jumped onto the table, its dark eyes glaring at Natsume.
Why aren't you toasting with me?! Natsume paused, then watched as Eevee nudged a glass with its head, pushing it toward Natsume, its eyes filled with anticipation.
Natsume patted Eevee's head and clinked his glass against Eevee's.
"Cheers!"
"Eevee~!" Eevee grinned, showing off its tiny fangs.
"You don't usually like Moomoo Milk, Eevee."
"Eevee!" (I want it now!) Eevee stood on its hind legs, dipping its head into the glass and actually managing to lap up some milk.
Natsume was slightly stunned. Could it be that Eevee, like a cat, is a liquid creature?!
"Hmm… maybe Professor Samuel Oak could research this!" Natsume mused.
"Eevee!" Eevee suddenly let out a tiny milk burp, its face turning red as it shot a murderous glare around the room.
Haunter and Squirtle buried their faces in their bowls, shoveling food into their mouths, pretending not to notice. If we look up now, we might die!
"Eevee!" Eevee nodded in satisfaction. ...The first day of moving was indeed exhausting.
But the little ones, far from being shy in the new environment, had started a party in the living room.
Squirtle was spraying Water Gun, while Haunter wielded a mop.
Pretending to clean, they were actually having a water fight.
"Eevee!" Eevee happily splashed around in the puddles.
"Make sure you clean up after yourselves!" Natsume said through gritted teeth. Half an hour later, Squirtle, worn out from moving all day, withdrew into its shell and fell into a deep sleep.
Eevee yawned, lying on the couch, its head bobbing up and down. Natsume leaned against the wall, watching the two little ones, and shook his head with a smile.
They're so cute when they're asleep… though their backstabbing hurts a bit! Just then, Haunter poked Natsume's shoulder and grinned.
"Haunter? (ノ￣▽￣)" Natsume paused, then sighed in resignation.
"I know, I know, I'll take you to train now!" He had bought Haunter a Toxic Orb earlier and promised to train with it.
Since this kind of training was dangerous, Natsume had even taken notes. Though the chances of becoming a Trainer were slim, Natsume-sensei wanted to fulfill his Pokémon's wishes as much as possible.
"Now's a good time," Natsume glanced at the soundly sleeping Eevee and Squirtle. "Shall we go train?"
"Haunter! (*≧▽≦)" Haunter nodded excitedly. According to Koga's Toxic Manuscript, combining the Toxic Orb with training could help Haunter master the move Venoshock.
Taking Poison-type training to the extreme could even lead to the advanced move Sludge Bomb. Both moves were highly toxic, and Natsume didn't dare let Haunter train alone without supervision.
Natsume-sensei had made a deal with Haunter: Absolutely no using these moves at home, or the Toxic Orb gets confiscated!
Haunter had reluctantly agreed.
"Is this my second time training a move?" Natsume stroked his chin, recalling the first time he trained with Toxic.
