Darren's POV
Diamond's body bulged, and I could hear her bones cracking. Her body twisted as she fell to the ground. Her clothes ripped, unable to confine her growing muscles.
It started with the claws. They grew long and sharp, digging into the ground. Her hands grew larger, like a grizzly bear. She looked at me, her eyes morphing from the former midnight black into gold chasms. She snarled, angry and roaring as she tried to fight it.
Her fur grew, black like her eyes used to be. A colour similar to the shadows in a dark alley. Or the shadows under the bed at midnight. It looked like spikes on her body, quickly matting together to form a lush coat.
From the tip of her snout, a single streak of silver flowed to her back. It broke into two, rolling till the end of her back.
She pulled herself off the ground, her body a mass of power and rage. One look at me and she roared before charging forward.
"Fuck!"
