Obviously, Amanda had done everything possible to ensure that those sent on the mission to rescue the students were her allies. That way, if necessary, she could ask them to finish the job and erase any evidence.
And, to the blonde's surprise, she would be forced to use this last resort, as the students had somehow not only survived the rift but also the assassins she had sent after them.
So, as the leader of the rescue expedition, she assigned Professor Wein. The man was not a close ally of hers, but she had obtained evidence of the crimes he committed during the Class S exam.
Not only did she have proof that he had teleported Davi to another location, but she had also gathered witnesses of him speaking with a suspicious man, as well as evidence of multiple small interferences.
