Chapter 102 - Lesson in Rulership [2]

"First lesson, Never be subservient. For you are to stand next to Father and as such you should act with power as befitting of Father's wife." Raguel spoke sternly, her eyes darting across the letter written by Aurelia.

"In this letter, you are begging the worms to reconsider... Not Good! When you step on the ants, do you apologize?" Raguel's smile curled downwards.

Aurelia's brow furrowed, and her mouth slightly opened. She wanted to ask something, but Raguel continued.

"Father had ordered me to teach you, and so I will. First, we shall write this letter as befitting of the future Queen and not some little girl asking her parents to stop fighting." Raguel took a seat close to where Aurelia sat before beckoning her to sit.

Aurelia's body stiffened.

"Come, we do not have all day, this is merely the first lesson. COME!" She shouted, not a question but an order.

Aurelia's face turned red as she rushed to the seat, "Yes ma'am!"

"Again! Do not let me order you around. You are gonna be Father's wife, right? As such you are higher rank than I." Raguel's golden eyes swept over Aurelia's form, her expression a mix of anger and frustration.

Aurelia nodded before taking a seat next to Raguel.

"Do not allow yourself to be ordered; only one worthy of ordering you to do anything is Father. While I expect you to listen to my advice, I do not expect you to follow my orders."

Aurelia merely nodded at Raguel's speech, a slight blush appearing over it as Raguel spoke about Cedric being the only one able to order her.

'I kinda wish for him to order me to strip and kneel in front of him and.... AGH! No stop it, Aurelia.' She placed her hands on her face, covering her embarrassment.

Raguel merely stared at her in disbelief.

"Another issue, your lust is quite literally written over your face." Raguel crossed her legs as she stared at the blushing princess.

"Tell me, what is in your mind?" Raguel raised her brow as she stared at Aurelia with curiosity.

Aurelia's eyes avoided contact with Raguel as hard as they could before she finally spoke in a sheepish tone.

"I just want Cedric to take me... I keep offering myself, and he never takes me! I want him to make me unable to walk and leave me sore for days after an intense night. I want him to fill me with his seed so that I may bear an heir for him!" Aurelia's voice cracked with embarrassment.

Raguel blinked.

She stared at the lustful princess in disbelief, she was speechless.

In a way, she regretted asking the princess what was on her mind.

"Ahm!" Raguel coughed into her hand, "No matter, I see where your priorities lie."

She raised her finger before continuing, "But, if you wish for Father to... as you bluntly stated, make you unable to walk, you need to become a good queen, worthy of being his bride."

This got Aurelia's attention; in a moment, her lustful expression disappeared and was replaced by absolute focus.

"I understand, Lady Raguel! I will do my best!"

...

'Was that really all it took to make her focus...' Raguel let out a small sigh.

She understood such a desire, especially from a human woman, who was a sinful creature that was devoid of Father's light; And now she had gotten close to Father, which made her sinful nature flare.

Of course, Raguel understood Aurelia's desire to lay with the Father, however, only one who is worthy may be allowed to do so. There is certainly no mortal woman alive who wouldn't wish to do so if given the opportunity.

"Let us focus on this letter." Her hands slapped the parchment onto the table.

Aurelia nodded excitedly as she reached for the quill.

Slap

"No, I will write it." Raguel grabbed the quill and another piece of parchment.

"First of all, you do not give your demands right off the bat, we want to make them meet you."

Aurelia rubbed her wrist as she stared at Raguel. The woman spoke so much and so powerfully that the princess couldn't even get a word in.

"If they know what you wish, then they might ignore your summons or, even worse, try to find a weakness to exploit." Raguel tapped the quill against the hard table.

"But Lady Raguel, if we demand, the nobility might become hostile to me..." Aurelia took a deep sigh before continuing, "I hoped that those who weren't openly hostile could see reason."

Snap

"Open hostility is no different than those who pretend to be your allies." She paused for a moment, "No, it is even worse.."

"There is no such thing as non-hostiles in nobility." Raguel's smile was replaced by a frown.

"Those who are openly against you are easy to deal with; however, beware of daggers in the dark. Those so-called non-hostile nobles might be the ones who will send assassins first." Her fingers tapped against the table.

"No, it is almost guaranteed."

Aurelia's fingers made their way to her chin as she considered Raguel's words.

"How do I deal with them, Lady Raguel?"

"Dominance, Show of power. Show them what it means to stand in front of a true queen." Her smile hid malice.

"Their petty games matter not; only truth in this world is Father's command." She stopped once again.

"If Father orders them to bury themselves alive, all they can do is say 'Yes, glorious master.'"

"You must teach them that there is no place for disobedience, and thus Let us start with a summon." Raguel's voice cracked for a moment, almost as if she was about to laugh at the futility of anyone standing against Father.

Raguel finished writing a letter, and with a swift motion, she slid it to Aurelia.

Aurelia glanced over the letter before her eyes widened,"Lady Raguel... This is basically a demand for submission..."

"That is because it is exactly that, I inherited Father's will, and He will not tolerate resistance from Infidels anymore." Raguel stood up, pushing herself against the table.

"They will bend the knee, or they will be treated as Demon associates." Air seemed to grow cold at her words, she was serious.

'This is what I was afraid of...' Aurelia let out a soft sigh, it seemed nobility would only have a single chance.
