A split second before he was cut in half, Alan vanished from the spot where he was.

Alan: "How many left on your end, Nova?"
Nova: "A severely injured spider and six other beasts alive."
Alan: "I guess we can call our surprise attack a success. Nova, you will be under a lot of pressure, as I didn't expect their leader to hide another 7th stage dark spider. I will try to help you by getting rid of the remaining three cultists, but I don't think I can defeat the leader."
Nova: "Master, don't worry. I will finish the beast in no time and come to help you."
Alan smiled and looked at Nova.
