Chapter 56 - " Thy Den, Her Domain "

(still Around 11Am, At The Siri's mom hospital :;)

( Inside the " Wong's hospital " )":

.....One of the nurses, a warm smile spreading across her face, leaned forward to greet Yot. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Nong Yot," she said, her voice filled with warmth.

Yot giggled and hid behind Siri, peeking out to smile shyly at the nurse. The nurse's eyes lit up at his cuteness, and she couldn't help but smile.

The nurse who seemed to be in charge stepped forward, her expression courteous. "Good day, Nong Siri. Is there something we can help you with?"

Siri replied, "I'm here to see my mom. Where is she?"

The nurse nodded. "Khun Som is currently in a meeting. But it's almost over. You can go wait for her in her office if you'd like."

Siri asked, "How long is it?"

The nurse continued, "well...The meeting should wrap up in about ten minutes or so. Please, go ahead and wait for her in her office. It won't be too long."

Siri nodded and started to head towards the office, Yot still hiding behind her.

As they walked towards the main elevator, they could still hear the nurses' voices behind them.

"Oh my goodness, he's so adorable!" one of the nurses exclaimed.

"I know, right? That's Nong Yot, and he's way cuter than his pictures," another nurse chimed in.

"I've never seen him before, but I can see why everyone's always talking about him. He's precious!" a third nurse gushed.

Siri smiled to herself, happy to hear the nurses' kind words about Yot. Yot, on the other hand, seemed a bit nervous, holding Siri's hand tightly as he peeked out from behind her with big, curious eyes.

As they approached the main elevator, Wut stood waiting, his eyes fixed intently on the floor indicator. Siri and Yot walked towards the elevator, their presence commanding attention.

The nurses and doctors nearby stopped and bowed their heads in respect, their whispers dying down as they watched the scene unfold.

Siri's eyes flicked over Wut, a hint of a smirk playing on her lips. She seemed to savor the moment, her confidence and authority radiating from every step. Wut's eyes narrowed, his gaze following Siri as she walked past him.

The sound of her footsteps seemed to echo through the hallway, emphasizing her confidence and authority. Siri seemed to revel in the moment, her eyes never leaving the elevator as she walked past Wut. She knew the effect she was having on him, and she reveled in it.

As Siri walked past Wut, the air seemed to vibrate with tension. Wut's eyes followed Siri, his expression unreadable. The people around him seemed to sense the shift in atmosphere, their conversations dying down as they watched the scene unfold.

Yot didn't seem to notice Wut, his focus solely on Siri and the elevator. Siri didn't seem to notice the commotion she was causing, but in reality, she was acutely aware of the effect she was having on Wut. She loved the way he looked at her, the way he seemed to seethe with annoyance whenever she was around.

Siri swiped her card and the doors to the private elevator slid open. "This way," she said, smiling, and gently pulled Yot inside. The private elevator was minimalist in design, with only two buttons on the control panel: Siri's Mom Office (10th Floor) and Last Floor.

The limited options on the control panel seemed to indicate that this elevator was reserved for specific individuals or purposes. Yot's eyes scanned the simple control panel, his curiosity growing with each passing moment.

As the elevator began its ascent, Siri's grip on Yot's hand remained gentle, but firm. Yot's eyes were fixed on the floor indicator, his curiosity growing with each passing moment. He looked up at Siri, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness about where they were headed.

As the elevator began its ascent, Siri noticed Yot's nervousness. She could see the tension in his body, the way his eyes darted back and forth. She smiled and gently squeezed his hand.

"Hey, you're not nervous, are you?" she asked, her voice soft and reassuring.

Yot tried to play it cool, shaking his head. "No, I'm not nervous," he lied.

Siri chuckled and pulled him closer. "That's good, because there's someone who really wants to meet my mom," she said with a sly smile.

Yot's eyes widened in curiosity. "Who?" he asked.

Siri's smile grew wider as she teased him. "Someone who dislikes eating vegetables, but still wolfed them down quickly just to meet my mom," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Yot's eyes remained curious, and he asked again, "Who?" His face was still filled with a questioning expression, unaware that Siri was talking about him.....
