**A Thousand!**
Over a thousand demons raged and roared on the other side of the great white wall. They banged their weapons with utter ferocity, trying their best to break down the barrier that stood defiant against their onslaught.
The sky loomed dark above them, and the furious echoes of the demons shook the very ground beneath their feet. Despite their relentless efforts, not even a scratch marred the pristine surface of the holy-looking wall.
On the other side, four figures clad in majestic heavenly armor stood, their expressions grave.
One warrior donned crimson armor, a massive greatsword strapped to his back. His unreadable expression betrayed the tension in his grip as he prepared for battle.
Beside him was a stout lady cloaked in dark fabric, her hood shadowing her face. The cloak was adorned with intricate magic circles that pulsed with power. Her purple hair framed a countenance of fierce concentration, her gloved hands focused intently on the wall, as if any distraction could spell disaster.
Another figure stood with an aura of calm that contrasted sharply with the chaos surrounding them. She exuded an elegant and holy presence, her serene gaze studying the wall as if it held all the secrets of their fate. Her hands rested lightly on the staff she wielded, a conduit for her divine energy.
Finally, the leader of the group—the great knight clad in heavenly battle armor—stood ready. His armor bore an intricate design reminiscent of the mage's cloak, and he held a golden sword in one hand while the other gripped a magic-amplifying glove. Sharp yet calm, his gaze embraced the cacophony of demonic roars, finding pleasure in the challenge that awaited them.
These were the four heroes of mankind: Haru, Miyuki, Mayumi, and Yuji!
Radiating energy, they were a stark contrast to the weary figures they had been upon their arrival in this world.
"Miyuki, how long can you maintain the great white wall?" Yuji's voice held a hint of dominance.
"Only a few more minutes. The wall may seem unharmed, but I'm exhausting my energy maintaining this spell. We need to prepare for battle," Miyuki replied, sweat trickling down her brow.
"Alright then, everyone get ready!" Yuji commanded, dropping into a battle stance.
"Finally, some action! I'm done with magic spells!" Haru exclaimed, excitement bubbling in his voice as he unsheathed his sword, ready to dive into the fray.
"Dear Lord, as we prepare to transcend into true battle, guide us and imbue us with your strength!" Mayumi prayed, and almost instantly, her staff glowed with an otherworldly light that enveloped the entire group.
The radiant glow healed their injuries and restored their energy; even Miyuki felt her fatigue wash away.
"Thanks, Mayumi," Yuji said, a smile breaking through his serious demeanor. "Now, Miyuki, let down the wall!" His voice was steady, his heart pounding with anticipation.
Without hesitation, Miyuki dispelled the barrier. Almost immediately, it vanished, allowing the horde of demons to rush forward with thunderous yells.
"ALRIGHT, EVERYBODY! LET'S DO THIS!!" Yuji shouted as he leaped into the air, diving into the demon horde!

Kenji stood before the massive monolith that was the dungeon entrance, disbelief settling in as he took in the sight. The children watched in awe behind him, marveling at the elegance of the ominous structure.
"Kenji-sama, are you going inside?" Pheia asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.
"Yes, I am. I need to meet an old friend in there. You kids be good and wait for me, alright? Mr. Bear and I will go in, while you play with Mrs. Bear," Kenji said, nodding toward the two bears he had tamed on the approach to the dungeon.
He couldn't tell them he was entering a battlefield, nor could he take them with him and neither could he leave them alone; instead, he had opted for two bears. One would serve as his bodyguard, while the other watched over the children. He used a temporary contract for the beasts—permanent contracts were a significant commitment for a beast tamer, and he couldn't afford any mistakes.
"Alright, Kenji-sama, we'll be out here. Don't take too long, okay?" Leia said, shaking her finger with a hint of authority.
"Promise you'll come back," Leo urged, extending his pinky finger.
Feeling a pang of conflict, Kenji knelt and wrapped his pinky around Leo's. "I promise, little buddy, I'll come back," he assured, though doubt gnawed at him from within.
Standing up, he turned to leave but paused, returning to embrace the children. The hug was not merely to comfort them; it was a vow to himself that he must return.
He had to return!
With one last look, Kenji turned away, stepping into the green light of the portal, closely followed by Mr. Bear.
---
Inside the dungeon, Kenji stood next to the bear, moving cautiously through the dark labyrinth that stretched endlessly before him.
Roar!
The fearsome sound of a beast echoed through the chamber, halting Kenji in his tracks. Behind him, the bear continued its lumbering pace, the vibrations of its footsteps reverberating ominously.
"Shhh!" Kenji hissed, signaling the bear to stop.
But it was too late. A massive shadowy figure leaped out of the darkness, launching an attack on the bear!
Splurt!
Before Kenji could fully comprehend the horror unfolding, he watched in shock as the bear's body crumpled lifelessly to the ground. But the nightmare didn't end there—the body exploded, showering Kenji with blood and raw flesh.
Wiping the gore from his face, he looked up to see a massive horde of shadowy figures looming before him. They lacked distinct shapes or forms, composed purely of dark intent, their eyes glinting with malice.
Suddenly, a red light burst from Kenji's head, revealing Shreya. "Well, Kenji, you're definitely screwed!"
---
Outside the dungeon, the three children played with "Mrs. Bear" when they heard footsteps approaching. They turned to see four men cloaked in black, one of whom held a cage.
"Oh my, oh my. Seems today is our lucky day," one sneered, eyeing the children with malicious intent.
"Yes, it seems so. We can have some 'fun' with the little girls and then sacrifice the boy," another added.
"Who are you?!" Leo demanded, stepping protectively in front of his sisters, staring cautiously at the strangers.
One cloaked figure bent down before Leo, a wicked smile stretching across her lips. "I like this boy. He seems strong. Although he may be small, I could still have some fun with him while you men play with the girls," she said, her gaze predatory.
"I'm not going to ask you again! Who are you?!" Leo's voice rang with unwavering courage.
"Don't worry, little boy. We're not here to harm you; we just want to play a game," she replied, brushing her fingers through his hair.
He suddenly grabbed her finger and pushed it away from his head. "What kind of game?" he asked, curiosity battling with caution.
The hooded lady smiled wickedly. "We're going to play a game called 'Rape!'"
As she spoke, a brilliant light erupted from the cage held by one of the cloaked figures, and in an instant, the cage exploded.
Metal bars flew in all directions, one piercing a cloaked man and killing him instantly. The others remained unfazed, their eyes fixated on the source of the light.
"You can torture me, slaughter me, sacrifice me! But don't you dare think to do such a thing to little children!!!" As the light dissipated, it revealed a beautiful lady with pink hair and a crescent moon shape on her forehead.
"YOU'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!"
