"you done hiding from me?"
Holy fucking macaroni! He scared the shit out of me.
"I don't know what you are talking about sir."
I say through a bit of stuttering. I can communicate well now even though not fluently.
"So what are you doing there, if not trying to hid from me?"
So apparently I am sitted behind some shelves when I heard him come in. I didn't expect he would come from my back and startle me. I smile, fake smile and shake my head.
"I was looking for something."
It awkward so awkward talking to Taylor. I have started to have a huge crush on him. Well it started from the time I lay my eyes on him but still I just noticed it wasn't just a crush. I may be falling for him.
"Okay....if you aren't hiding from me then come and talk to me..."
I haven't looked at him all this while. At least not his face. I can't do that to my fragile heart. I stand and walk to my bed and sit. He follows but sits on the desk chair.
"Is something wrong?"
I shake my head. He can't know I heard his other servants talking bad about me. Talking about that.
"Sir..."
"I told you to stop calling me sir."
I nod and shyly look down. When did I fucking start feeling shy? Anyways...
"Now that I can walk and talk well... Don't you think I should start working for you...you know..."
Taylor is just looking straight at me. No blinking and he is scary.
"I...I just want to start paying of my father's debts...."
My voice is weak. This man is intimidating.
"Your father's debts?"
I nod
"Your father didn't have debt with me."
I look up so sudden that he smiles.
"Wait..."
"Wait..."
We both say at the same time
"You first Taylor..."
I say and he first looks at me. I can feel it even though my eyes are on my lap.
"You think I helped you so that you can work for me?"
He ask and I nod.
"That's what my mother told me...the last day I saw her."
Taylor curses and I know it is not the right time but he is fucking hot when he curses. Like I want to do something to him so he can curse under his breath just like he did. Snap out of it Ruby.
"Oohh....Ru...your mother is so wrong..."
I look at him and this time our eyes met and I can see something I have never seen before, care.
"I wish I killed that woman..."
He says under his breath but my ears are are sharp as the eagle.
"So why did you help me?"
I ask finally after a long silence.
Taylor smirk. This man wants me to die young.
"Well...I have my reasons princess...which for now you aren't supposed to know."
That's both hot and scary. The way he eyes me from top to bottom as he says those words makes my heart beat speed and my face to turn fifty shades of pink.
"So...just to be clear?"
He nods and I really want to ask much but I guess one question at a time.
"I am not indepted to you because of my father?"
He nods. I take a deep breath. At least that man didn't leave me with dept.
"So will you stop avoiding me."
I look down.
"I wasn't..."
He stands and slugs.
"Tomorrow I am taking you to the hospital so they can check if your face scar can be removed...."
I look up at him and he is looking at me with hands in his pocket.
"Why?"
He walks to me and I regret now asking. He bends to reach my level and he is so close I can smell his cologne and it's addictive I want to smell it more.
"I don't want anyone looking at the queen of my empire wrongly..."
He says before standing upright and walking to the door and leaving. I take a deep breath for a minute I had forgotten to brea....wait a fucking minute? Did he just call me the queen of his empire?
